I recently lost my mom after taking care of her this last 2 years. I know my mom is where she wanted to be all of her life, in heaven with our Lord. It’s hard Scott but you did everything you possibly could and she knows that and she knows you love her. My heart goes out to you. May God be with you and give you strength and peace. Please remember to take care of yourself. It’s one day at a time and some days it’s one hour or one minute at a time.

Firstly, I am so very sorry for your mom. I lost my mom March 2020, after a quick 1 month battle with cancer. It was shocking and quick. I have never had anyone explain grief the way you described it. I can relate to exactly what you are going through. It’s almost 2 years and I’m still cycling through the phases. But the loneliness you described is something I can certainly relate to. I am so sorry Scott. It sounds like your mom was as special as mine. Unconditional love is something we both had with our moms. Love and blessing to you

My dear friend....I can see your pain & feel your love for your Mum. It's ok to not be ok for a while....just don't stay there very long or it will eat you alive. Trust me I've been there. Your Mum will ALWAYS be with you. Now she can travel along side you. When you visit a place on her list, you will hear her voice. Or maybe feel her touch on your cheek or shoulder. My grandma helps me cook all the time. She passed away 20 years ago. My late husband gives me advise almost every day. He passed away 4 years ago. When they speak I listen & learn. You will laugh again. You will cry again. You will get mad again. And it's ok. I'm not going to tell you that time heals all wounds because it doesn't. You just learn to live with the loss. Sending you & sister my loving thoughts & prayers. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Until next time my friend.

I know this is a two-year old video, but as someone who lost his mother 5 years ago, you very eloquently reminded me what the ensuing weeks and months were like following her death. I never went through denial, but I jumped back and forth through the other stages from day to day that I began to suspect I was losing my mind. I’m really sorry for your loss. You seem like a genuinely good guy and it’s sucks to know you were in this much pain. I hope, two years later, you’ve gotten back onto your path and things are better. Love your channel, dude. Take it easy and at a day at a time. Peace out.

Mother's are Gods gift, they truly are,a bond like no other. I’m so sorry for your loss. 😔 I’m sure your mum was so proud of you, and what you are doing. Your videos make a huge difference to others. Just know that I’m binge watching your vlogs at the moment as I seem to be going through quite a dark depression right now. Your videos help me. Thank you xxx

Man, I'm so sorry! I know exactly what you're going through. My father had a problem with his liver. Water would build up in his stomach and every now and then, he had to go to the hospital to take it out. Sometimes, they removed up to 13 liters of water! On the 30th of December, he went to the hospital. It wasn't a big deal. Like I said, it wasn't the first time and usually, he would go, stay there for the night and he would go back home the next day. On the 31st of December, my mom called me early in the morning. I was getting ready to go to work when she called. She was crying and told me that my father had passed away, just like that. I called my boss, told him what was going on and then I drove to the hospital. I thought that my mother would be there before me but she wasn't able to drive, so she asked her sister to pick her up and to drive her to the hospital. I was the first to get there, told a nurse that I just got that phone call and she walked with me to his room. When she opened the door, there he was, lying on the bed and....I remember telling the nurse "I can't, I can't" and then I ran into the bathroom to hide and started to cry. I understand that you're angry and you have every right to be angry! In your case, it was even worse because you couldn't be there because of the current situation. Man....again, I'm so sorry!

I just found you about 8 months ago, so I've been going through all of your videos. This one has me in tears. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother in 2016 and you are so correct, that is a void that can and never will be filled. It's just that. So lonely without my mom. Hugs and love. Thank you for the videos that you put out.

I always enjoy your videos Scott, the respect you hold is so visible and it makes my heart smile. I’m catching up on some old ones and this caught my eye. I’m so very sorry about your mom. I’m glad you and your sister could be there to help her, that will comfort your soul in time. I was able to care for my mom until she passed in 2007 and while you learn to adapt, you forever miss her. She’s around you always, that love is eternal. That energy remains! I hope now a year down the line you are healing and growing through it all. Sending you positivity, strength and love. ♥️

Scott, I have never commented before, and if I start to comment about every single amazing journey you have provided for us in this comment, it could end up rivaling "War and Peace". I promise to be more interactive from now on, but I just wanted to say that your journeys and your voice have been a part of my life that has brought me joy for the past few years. I am also a Frist Responder. Everything you stated about Staying Home I could not echo more, but that is also not what compelled me to comment. As someone who can also understand the gravity of your loss on a personal level (being a caretaker to the people who raised me, and lost them) I just wanted to say that your Mom's love will never stop. You and your sister are a living testament to her love, and through who you both are as people will always be a representation and an honor to her. Scott, I've never met you, but I just wanted to say you are loved my people you have touched through your stories, and as you go down new roads, you will have the love of not only your audience pushing you, but your Mom will right beside you on each and every one. Take care my friend.

What a beautiful lady your mum IS Scott. I say IS because I know she will always BE, in your memories, and in your heart. And your lovely dad, too. You did right to talk about how you felt, and I'm sure that these ensuing years have made you see that it has helped you come to some semblance of terms with their passing. I always remember my late father saying, as we left my Pop's funeral. "Well, that's it. Your mum and I are orphans now. And we stand on the top step; next to go, " At 68, I'm still not an orphan. My mum is 89, but my dad and all my uncles and aunts have passed. She is the sole beacon left shining from her era. I hope this message finds you a little closer to peace of mind abd soul, Scott. You're an absolute credit to your parents. 😊❤

My heart is breaking for you as I watch this and tears are streaming down my face. I lost my mom in 2014. So many things you’ve said are spot on. I’m still grieving to this day and some days are beyond difficult to deal with because I just wish I could talk with her again. The pictures of your mom show her beauty and what a beautiful smile. I feel your pain, more than you could possibly know. You will be with your mom again as will I be with mine. Believe me when I say this.
