to prevent phone slipping and still use the case of your preference I would suggest checking out phoneloops.com. I use it with much pleasure and have recommended it to many people already. especially when you're looking for a non intrusive phone grip.

Um, pretty much similar but I also have a flash drive and a pen with me; just for sudden paperwork as a student haha. Well, my EDC is still always with me these days even at home.. like an everyday essentials (except for wallet and keys).. Anyway, always love your videos ❤️:")

@@gyamagya19 Boys do use make up, wear pink, wear fragance, do facials, shave their legs, etc. More and more individuals break free from gender stereotypes. But things like make-up can be minimal. There are several make up tutorial for boys that include foundation and eye concealer, and eye liner. As a female, I follow the same steps.

I also love seeing what someone's every day carry is. i think the fascination for me comes from how loaded with meaning these items become because they have been handled so much and used so often!

Wish your videos were an hour long so I could just listen to you talk about minimalism while I work

Well, pre-pandemic I used to carry the following in my backpack: Laptop, planner ( yes, a physical notebook), ink pen, digital tablet ( I'm a tutor and use it for online classes) , water bottle, headphones, a comb, lip balm, phone, charging cords, wallet, house keys. Now, these are all at my desk at home!

I am totally into EDC thank you for the video. As a student of 2020 I have nowhere to go so I move my edc around the house my EDC are 1- thinkpad e14 2-philips shb7250 headphones 3- samsung on 5 ( 5 year old) 4- Tupperware 1l bottle Nothing else. And nowadays Cheng is adding small puns and jokes totally love those keep up this beautiful work.❤️

I like your list of things. I carry a very similar list. Only thing I add is a pocket knife to protect my Dog (worst case scenario) and handy food preparation. I live in the country and there are the occasional bad dogs that roam around (semi stray dogs). Oh, I also carry a pen at work as a physiotherapist we have a lot of charting and I usually clip that to my pants. Havent had to do that since i am working on opening my own clinic so work from home at the moment :)

Yes I'll never buy a wallet w/o a coin compartment! And I get a key pouch looped around the key rings as I hate scratches, as well as fiddling around my bag trying to fish out my keys :P I hate checking time on my phone too.

I've been trying minimalism for a while now; however, I'm struggling with digital and monetary minimalism😅

I’m always curious about your everyday carry now I’m so pleased

At this point, with the pandemic not well controlled in the U.S., I don't really have an EDC because I don't really go anywhere, sad to say. Overall, it's probably small purse, wallet, phone, hand sanitizer, mask, and water bottle. Also, the dayglo water bottle slap was too funny! Sometimes you just have to keep things because they put a smile on your face, even if they aren't your favorite version of that thing ever :-)

Love edc videos and it was interesting seeing yours. Love your seiko 5 👍🏻🙏🏻 Keep up the good work

Yesterday i cut out the driver license/card holder bit of my wallet, takes way less space now

I call myself as a minimalist as well and by being that I tend to think that this life style comes up to simplify lifes in general and when I see you carring an IPhone with a really small battery gets me concerned - I used to have an IPhone 6s and I struggled with it and when I had to get the most out of the cellphone the battery bailed on me, not one time, but several time - because of this problem I bought a Xiaomi with 5000 mAh.

I haven’t really thought about my EDC but its going to be my cp, wallet, smart watch and wireless earbuds.

Literally love your videos bro! Especially how you record. I wish I had the eye you have for visuals. I rocord my videos just sitting down but would like to incorporate more of a vlog style to my videos in the future.. I also like how you constantly find ways to speak in minimalism and personal development... how long did it take you to grow in this competitive space?

Sometimes I don't even carry my phone with me and don't miss it. I don't use cash these days either. If the shop accepts only cash, I just don't buy it (because, well, I can't). So my edc is basically keys, c card and wrist watch.

I have the same watch with steel strap 🥰

i think rfid wallet like c-secure with coin pouch would suit your need. It's about 48$ in singapore right now.

Hey CKSPACE I know I’m a little late to this video, but I had the same problem with wallets and coins. Check out the Bellroy Hide and Seek wallet, clean look, minimal branding, and has a discrete and durable coin section thats hidden in the back, but still easily accessible. I got it a couple months ago and it’s been amazing

I have the same reason as yours about the purpose of having a watch rather than constantly checking your phone for what time it is. Suddenly, you'll just find yourself stumbling over apps of the phone and will gradually distract yoh

I have managed to not to need a wallet or purse: I carry every card in my phone with apps, and as I keep my keys in a small cloth bag, I put some coins or bills there, in it's side pocket .

why do you need a watch when you have a smartphone? if you think about it, checking time on a smartphone is basically going back to the pocketwatch times, so i consider this as a devolution/one step back. Not to mention it's only good when battery is not empty or you have a free/clean hand. A nice watch is a good conversation starter or can elevate your look, and can be very tough while a smartphone does none of that.

In germany every wallet comes with a compartment for coins because here we actually use them.
