My Migration Story: I was paid about N1,800 for 'short time' in Libya - Returnee| Legit TV

"My boyfriend whom I stayed with in Libya returned to Nigeria and has since returned to Libya. His excuse was that things were not any better in Nigerian since his return, so, he has returned.
"It was a tough period for me inside the 'Connection House' because I never expected that I'd be made to do the things that I did. Salah period was the most busy for us, though, because it was like their own 'Christmas' in Libya," the young lady explained.
Since her return to Nigeria, Faith (not real name) has begun hairdressing and has been doing well with the business. She regrets her actions and wants Nigerians to know that it is not safe to travel illegally.

I believe the point is not only putting their stories out there but also coming up with ways to help them. I don't even see any go fund me accounts for some of these people who genuinely needs help. Please make a plan, do your research on different institutions that can offer help to them. Create a go fund me page. Getting the interview is not enough

Your stories are very bind blowing but worth sharing. These stories are familiar in most African countries where girls are promised the world but taken to Libya and other countries to do the most. Lack of opportunities in African countries are the number one factor. I hope many girls will learn from these stories.

Great interview and eye opener. However, with all this level of revelation, what is the Nigerian government doing to identify and rescue other Nigerians still in captivity and to break the trafficking chain. What measures are being taken to identify and prosecute the perpetrators both within and outside Nigeria. This is really sad.

Nigerian men? African men? Black men? Nothing. These are men who don't understand nation building and providing for their women and children. That is why our countries, communities and continent are the way they are. These are the same men that sold their women into slavery. If you are a Nigerian, African or black woman, you are on your own.

What they do ,They go after men and stay with men forgetting their soul purpose of traveling. They get cut up with the whole party and roaming a round which is illegal in Libya My opinion though because I live there I know things going on . It take the Grace of God to survive or make it in Libya with legit work And be ready to work don't be lazy Some girls don't like been ordered around by Arab women they want quick money which doesn't last or get you anywhere My dear may God bless you as you are back home and remember to work hard
