My Mercedes s550 is ready for the ACTUAL dealer...

Ойын-сауық

What a car! I'm planning to clean it up and take some great pictures to post for sale. There are a few minor repairs it needs, like a broken front left air strut, new tires and new brakes. Overall, the engine is in perfect condition, and I estimate its value to be around $4,000 to $9,000. I'm considering asking for $5,000 or even $7,000. However, I took it to the Mercedes dealer for advice, and they recommended replacing the strut, fixing the brakes, and addressing electrical and body issues, which would cost around $6,000 to $7,000. It's more than the car's worth, so I might explore other repair options. CHECK IT OUT!

As a long time Mercedes owner myself only take it to the Mercedes dealer to get a diagnostic report. Take it to a regular shop that repairs Mercedes. You'll be shocked how much more the dealer repairs cost. That airmatic shock replacement is going to cost you about $1000 for parts and labor.

As a Mercedes driver and owner for 27 years, reading the owners manual patiently will help you get familiarize with the features and operations. Let me tell you, lots of these new Mercedes today are designed for clients to lease and return unless some clients have the extra discretionary income to invest in the repair costs after the warranty expires and age. I would recommend taking your beautiful S550 to a reputable independent Mercedes repair facility and give that thing love. The S550 is a very nice car, but you have to decide what would be best. I currently own a 1996 W202 C220 which I am the original owner, (2) W212 E350s 2010 & 2013, and a 2015 Volkswagen Passat. Now, I'm not a used car dealer, as a consumer I just own and have fun with them. In any event, my favorite S-Class is the W126 and W140. I do miss my 1989 300 SE I had from 2009-2015 I had enjoyed it. Best wishes with your decision with the S550.

@@guys_garage Yes, you are right I do take care of them and do my regular maintenance service on them to keep them reliable. My W202 C220 has 252,000 miles original transmission, engine, and the timing chain. During my ownership of that classic I invested in doing all the typical wear and tear repairs that thing drives great. Thank you for your kind reply and I am subscribed to your channel.

Why would you let the dealership fix your car? You could go to normal garage and pay way less. I have a 2010 W221 S550 4-matic, and i bought it with 96000km on the clock. I had my right front strut broken after 15000km, i had a garage taken it out and brought the strut to a third party and got it fixed for 200 euro then got it back to the first garage and they put it back under the car. I paid 50 euro labor for taking the strut out and back in. It's not rocket science, yes their expensive cars but you can do a lot yourself. Brake rotors and pads is something you can do in your own garage.

Last good quality Mercedes ran out in 1999 but today it makes no sense to buy them because you are already dealing with the age of the car, it is already running, everything will fall apart. the last Mercedes model My favorite was the model 😍 500 SEL 😎I still like Mercedes today They're fun to drive, but it's not worth fixing them, they'll bankrupt you
