Good comprehensive review. I did the same by adding some bandaids and replacing the RAT with a CAT.
Rats will get the job done, but they are way to thin. I do like the fact that they are easy foe an untrained person to apply though. I recommend just about any other TCCC recommended options though.
Can you recommend a good tac medicine/combat first aid book?
