I was feeling down because I couldn't figure out how to build the deck without going into Branded, too many URs atm, and didn't think pure was going to be reliable. The deck's playstyle looks interesting. That new chimera boss monster reminds me of neo blue eyes ultimate with its 3x attacks for otk. It even seems better in some aspects as well, like having better protection from gy and attack change to 0 effect.

Can't believe none of these badass new monsters got an animation. I think it's a bit overpriced, but it's definitely a fun deck. It's got a really unique playstyle and I love the artwork on these cards- really feels like old school Yu-Gi-Oh.

Im running 2 versions of this deck, one is pure, even running a few of the og phantom beast cards. And the other mixes tri-brigade and it is surprisingly good.

Chimera: "Yes! Hey, I just got my new archetype!" Wingweaver: "Hey, I'm getting mine next!" Chimera: "Hey, I doubt it." But for real, it is impressive how characterful they've made one of Yugi's old fusion staples. A whole new Type and cool fusions just to bolster good old Gazelle and Berfomet's rep, very nice. Great gameplay, nice to see purer showcases of these decks :)

Agreed. Konami did Yugi justice with this Chimera archetypes, that I wish Konami would retrain some BE cards to be like some Chimera cards.

I almost made the galaxy eyes because of your videos when the chimera pack was out since i didn't want to play rescue ace. But ultimately, I made chimera instead, and thank god i did cause a new structure deck is coming for galaxy eyes next pack lol

Can you make somewhat of a slowed video where you show and explain the deck and its tactics slowly and only in the end show sped up gameplay? I would really love that with a blue eyes deck combined with another archtype like photon, despia etc which lets me play the game and hold up to meta decks i think that video what go through the roof

With S:P in the game, you should drop the Curse of Dragon and play Gilti Gearfried fusion. I've come across a bunch of Little Knight and Baronne boards

do you still feel like ash is worth running given how much fire decks can punish that? I've been going back and forth between pure, branded, and kash but haven't settled on one yet. I think I might go pure given sp and horus support on the horizon but the other engines just have so much value in this format. Do you feel like pure does enough, or would you add in other engines like kash/branded to raise the ceiling of the deck? One last question, why go with curse of dragon over equiste?

I think yes, Ash is worth to counter Maxx C and it has generic negate, but works best against Labrynth and Branded, I think the deck loves ripping opponent's hand, and Maxx C will make its effect isnt so good, since they will draw about 3 cards when you try to rip their cards. There is always a risk of playing handtraps, like Ash in fire meta, but Maxx C has many counters, and people still play it. So i think the logic is similar in this one. I think pure does enough for me (in addition to staples I played), but if you want other engines, I think Kashtira is good, since they can bait handtraps, as well as forcing interruptions on them if you go 2nd. Kashtira may take some staples' spots, so I guess the choice is yours. For Branded, I feel limitation on Branded Fusion and Opening hurts Branded Chimera, since you want Branded to send new Gazelle to GY for its search effect. You can play more Branded cards like Cartessia, other Branded spell/traps, etc. But I feel if you do this, there are more cases when you dont even get access to Chimera cards, so I think it's a bit forced to play this way/Chimera will be win more cards if you play more Branded cards. I think you can play 1 Albaz+ Fusion if you want Branded engine. I think Ceiling can be raised a little higher if you play other engines, but it only happens if you have these cards and I'm not sure adding some bricks to the deck is worth it. Curse of Dragon and Equiste are same super poly targets for Baronne+Dis Pater/Savage, but I never include it in my decks before, so I used this time to include it as well. Also, weirdly I didnt see Baronne and Dragon synchros in my climb (maybe I forgot), so any of them didnt make any difference.

Continuous, equip, and field spell/traps' effects only resolves if they are still face up on field. If they cease to be, their effects wont resolve.

Hey bro nice video, I got one question maybe u know the answer. Yesterday I duelled a friend, I had one edge imp and one Frightfur Patchwork in my start hand, after using my edge imp in super poly I wanted to use Frightfur Patchwork to get me one polymersation and another edge from my deck, but I couldn’t activate the card, I had still one edge imp in deck and 2 polymersation that’s for sure cause I triple checked, my friend didn’t had any floodgates or other negations active but I was just able to set the card not activating it. Can u see a reason for this or is it maybe a bug?

When I fusion Gazelle and Berfomet into Chimera, the effect chain link always be Chimera -> Gazelle -> Berfomet, which Berfomet's effect unprotected, while you trigger Gazelle -> Berfomet -> Chimera, how can I change the order? Thanks

When it resolves, it usually gets locked by Berfomet afterwards, since popular handtraps are maxx c and ash and players use them on Mirrorknight

Why gamma player aren't using accel synchro for climb up to baronne? They haven't enough extra deck space or what? It's good to baiting opponent negate and if they aren't negate it you can summon omni negate

You can play them if you want. In my games, Big Winged Berfomet usually locks me to only fusion summon, which usually happens when opp plays Maxx C/Ash to Mirror Swordknight and I chained Gamma to opp's handtraps. Rarely opp plays Maxx C/Ash on other cards, so Gamma into synchro wasnt really needed imo. And Gamma is usually played on opp's turn, so I think replacing those synchros for Super Poly targets is better.

I'm afraid not. Tho there is the possibility of including some BE cards only for Guardian Chimera fusion materials on opp's turn, but I think that's a forced way to play them together.

How often does muckraker come up? And when should I even use the card in your opinion?

Mainly for monster negate. If I somehow resolve gamma on my turn, new Berfomet locks me to only fusion summon most of the time, which made me think I dont to include synchro monster. I put plenty Super Poly targets instead of synchros, which you can replace some with synchros if you are interested.

Oh, that Gaia fusion. Didn't even realize he was playing that. It's just a Super Poly target- Warrior+Dragon can yeet Baronne+Savage/Crimson/etc. I think Draco-Equiste is better for that, but I guess the Gaia fusion can maybe hit Flamberge before he summons Masquerena from the back row.

How if mix with branded?

It's obviously stronger than your regular anime related decks, which to say it can rank-up rather easily compared to some other anime decks. The deck can beat rogue decks as well. Tho, powerwise or to rank up on ladder easier, meta decks like snake-eye are definitely the better choice, since they are so consistent and strong as well.
