Hax... Either that or the rules of degraded to where this game is just a sloppy free-for-all. It's one of those, "oh yeah, there are rules, but you can always break the rules with a monster effect." The designers of the game no longer understand, If you can break enough rules repeatedly, you don't have a game.

I put this as a reply, but enough people asked that I figured Id explain. The gimmick went like this. Spooky Dogwood is a hand trap that gives you LP equal to the atk of any monster your opponent special summons. Cyber Stein allows you to pay 5000 LP to summon a fusion monster. He used Reprodocus to change CS type to psychic, then used Telekinetic Charging Cell, which can only work on psycbics, to make it so he doesnt have to pay LP for card effects. He summoned 4 lv10 fusion beatsticks, and then XYZ summoned into Ravenous tarantula, which buffs all monsters on the field by the difference in LP between you and your opponent. They summon 3 of them, and every time, the LP of the Ra player is going up by the tarantulas atk, which scales off the Ra players LP. This causes the LP gain to increase exponentially until it caps out at over 99 million, causing all of the opponents monsters to also have over 99 million atk. Ra comes out, pays LP down to 100 to gain that much atk, and suddenly, the difference in LP is only 1900. So Ra has 99 million atk, and the tarantulas are insects for the super mega ultra bird. Hope this helps.

Actually emotionally damaged isn't the word for it, pretty sure the Dino player was super impressed by the whole thing. "Yeah I lost, but damn I got a Dartz match IRL better than the anime ever did."

The game was so broken at that point, that it took 4 additional life points from the player... He ended up with 96...

I was going to say it was likely because he no longer had a rounded LP. 64 bit games can count incredibly high without hitting the bit limit or getting errors. My guess is the game has a hard programmed ceiling for life-point addition thats just a bunch of 9’s. So instead of adding round numbers, it was adding a long series of 9’s. Which eventually gave a 96 at the end

One thing that would ruin it would be Magic Cylinder and give your opponent the "No You Lose" treatment. As Ra has not protection so it's basically can be Magic Cylinder.

Egyptian God Slime redirects all attacks to it and can't be destroyed by battle, so it wouldn't have mattered if they attacked or not.

THAT wasnt a duel. Never would your opponent summon that much, if you have a card who lets you gain LP by every summon. Also you get the whole ATK in form of LP. No one would bring out so many monsters under that condition. You would summon 1 or 2 and try to get rid of that card who lets your opponent gain LP. This was only a showcase of what is possible. This same thing will never happen in a duel when both are great players !!!

I'm not really into the modern version of the game....but I do appreciate it when I see somebody taking so long to set up such a strong field, only for their opponent to take a fraction of the moves and time to wreck them.

I think the extra 4 hp went coz the hp was more than (999999*4) if we loop this like 100 times we might just self ko or something, just a theory tho

I love games like these. Both players throw out bait and size up your opponent. Then the combos begin.

Love the fact that Maxx C just existed and the other guy was like: NOPE- I AINT DEALING WITH THAT SHIT!

this is a set up duel, but really cool to watch. First the use of cyber-stein, then no one plays Number 35: Ravenous Tarantula, it only work if someone plays Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood, and no one plays that either. You have more chance of getting hit by lighting than actually witnessing two players with those cards play each other.

At lease you come up with your own builds , and i love it , everyone just copy and paste deck lists then make one or two changes and calls it their own 😂

I was dueling someone with that card. They sacrificed 7900 of there health into the card right and when they were done i switched it with a Santa claws card and they just raged quit afterwards 🤣

Imagine if his opponent had almost had the last piece of Exodia in his hand right before he summoned the infinite winged dragon of Ra card

You could smell the cooking on this one folks, that meal was done like dinner. Nothing was going to beat it, and by Yugi and Atem no monster could stop that.

I just got that game last Thursday and I enjoy this so far, I’ve learned how it works by watching the anime, some friends of mine has build 2 decks for me, I’m still a rookie but I’m having so much fun with master duel since its hard to find someone to play with for the actual real life card games since my friends has a job and they barely got time to play cards with me

I miss the old game where a match lasts longer than 1-3 turns before its over. Now its either people leave before the first is over turn if they don't get the hand they want or they summoned 5 monsters on the first turn even thought its your turn. "You took a breath, I activate my chain counter flip special effect and summon my deck and you lose"

Yeah, my favorite thing is to go second and watch how the enemy puts like 30 link monsters on the field and ends up with a full field of cards with effects amounting to "Haha, can't play any spells and can't summon anything. No turn for you :)".

@@ragerasse7616 current format requires you to play handtraps, someone defines them as "a necessary evil" but honestly they just benefit those decks that, going first, allows you to safely do your combo hitting your sweet endboard, then you end the turn and the first thing the other dude tries gets negated (ash, droll, d.shifter ecc) someone says "skill issue" i only see them as a total game breaking. You may try to bait some of them (ash is the easiest one) but then you have to face 5 more negates on the field and possible combo stopper (heavenly matched, called by the grave, impermanence and so on) so basically every game that you go second you're playing with fire hoping that your opponent doesn't have an handtrap in hand or lets you play through your combo (that second thing is ofc a joke)

A god that can't do simple reading comprehension, as he took 4 LP too many. Didn't know Ra was illiterate.

I used to play the card game a lot. And be quite good at it. Now I have very little idea of what's going on. The game has changed too much.

That must´ve been fun for the opponent :D

Those spiders attack is the difference in LP one direct attack from either would’ve reset his LP. Not to mention they can clear the opponents field of all monsters weaker than it if they had the material. They just didn’t. 🤷🏾‍♂️

That's the strongest Mega Ultra Chicken that I ever saw but nothing can beat the doggo which gives you infinite duel power

I want the anime show to animate this in a battle. the explosion after that attack would be animated as a nuclear bomb and some. lol. or by that point the hologram projectors broke and they are just playing yugioh like in real life. at a table.

Nah. The Meta is 20, with 3 flood gates in the back row and half your opponent's Deck banish-milled
