Literally have been watching all your vids, love your content man, I’m going to try and do all the same mods myself (or I might have to take to a shop for lack of experience 😫). I have essentially the same setup as you. Do you also notice how bad the drone is at 2,500-3,000 rpm?

Sounds great man! I went with a 200cel cat. I rode in my buddy's N55 with catless and it was just a bit too loud for daily livability for me, but it sounded great. I may do a midpipe to get rid of the resonators in the future, but apparently even just doing that makes the exhaust quite a bit louder when combined with our fabspeed muffler deletes. Doing midpipe + catless + muffler delete must sound insane! Hopefully you don't get f'd down there in Cali for the stupid new sound laws. I'm in Washington State and we're actually doing away with smog testing and cat requirements next year, the exact opposite haha.

Damn... I like it it‘s sick...!!! That‘s definitely the nicest and loudest sounding M235i I‘ve ever heard 🔥 🔥 🔥

Sounds perfect man! Hows the smell from it being straight piped? Do you smell it inside the car when the windows are up? I had a friend who had a catless N54 335i and it always smelt like oil and gas.

Man your tempting me man, been on the fence about trading for 235i/240 or just going all in and getting an M2. I guess i have to wait until you get it tuned but id like to know how it compares to your 335i.

Hey bro, love your content! I had a question for you that is kind of random lol I just picked up an M235i with 29,000 miles and the dealer tried to sell me a 72 month extended maintenance program for $3500, which would last 2.5 years. In your experience, is this worth the cost over 2.5 years?

What tune are you going for? I have the same mods on my m235i. I used both jb4 and mhd and have to say I love mhd more. Mhd pulls harder and smoother! And burble tune is cool and cold start delete helps with our loud ass cold start ups!

Sounds awesome! You should start doing a mod list in the description of your videos with the links and keep a running tally of all the additions. I’m itching to get to the end of lease in 6 months because I’m 99% sure I want to get an M235i. Cheers!

Get an M240i, you'll get more power from flash tune and basic bolt ons!

That's awesome man! Youre gona love it, with just the fabspeed muffler delete the drone was MINIMAL, absolutely awesome. with the downpipe its more noticeable but the race car like sound is just incredible

Im following your build closely. Stoked thay you have an n55. I have wagner comp 2 intercooler, wagner catless downpipe, er Chargepipe, res delete. Bm3 stage 2 e30 ots map. I ordered a MST intake. But after that i am done with the bolt ons. I am eyeing the awe exhaust. But in stuck at this power because not many people around me do big turbo swaps etc. I was looking at methanol injection but do you need a jb4 to run that? I am considering paying for a custom tune aswell. But anyway i want to see the steps you take on your build! Keep it up! #simplycarthings

thanks man! Im almost full bolt on, i have the bms intake, fabspeed downpipe/muffler delete, and a bunch of other smaller mods like H&R race springs, BMS spacers, etc. just need the chargepipe and intercooler and the car will be ready for the tune. im gona do a stage 2 flash

Can someone give Some advice. I have for a m235i Two downpipes on the shelf But dont know which one to put on the car. One is a Wagner 200 cell catted downpipe, Its wide. The other one is a catless , But narrow from begin to end. What Will be the differences And effect?

what intake do you have? i don't here too much turbo blowoff.

Mehhh go Jb4 with a mhd backend flash. Best of both worlds. I’ve ran both separate and they work amazing together. Or just go MHD stage 2 plus and get an intercooler. It will be a rocket. Literally.

seansurfn2 jb4 for logging (works better) jb4 for meth injection (you’ll need it if you want more power) jb4 also does a better job with ethanol. If you’re going to do just a flash tune get bootmod, it’s actually really badass. But with any kind of high power numbers you’ll want to run a jb4.

seansurfn2 I’m currently running big boost stage 3 with a mhd custom and jb4 for fuel it and meth. At about 600 ish hp. It’s a literal rocket. It’s actually too fast.

With the muffler delete the valve is gone right? So comfort mode and sport are pretty much going to sound the same ?

Sounds great too bad your in california its going to costly with the fines. If you get a jerk cop they are going to tag you for everything my cousin just got his m2 impounded in San Ramon Ca. Got fined catless downs, sound ticket, jb4, bov ect plus impound fees $3,700 total plus a court appearance all for getting pulled over for loud pipes for the sencond time. The kicker his car is being release to bmw dealship to have the stock parts put back on this will probably void his warranty. My cousin has a mile long rap sheet and spent 6 months in jail for street racing plus lost his licenses for 18 months so i know why he got extra treatment but all that happened in the past. California isn't playing around anymore in 3 months ive been pulled over twice by Sacramento PD for being too loud but my cat back was a dealer option i run diverter valves, and dci with smog tags they even checked for jb4 but i just have mhd. I wish you well good luck because i hear its getting really bad in So Cal parker was ranting about that the other day.

@@1v1qsns Dude, I own an M140i with an M Performance Exhaust which has a great tone and not overly loud. I've heard M Lites with dual res deletes irl and trust me, the excessive pops, bangs and crackles sound lowkey immature. You seem to be on about the level of loudness, so you're basically saying that a straight piped Civic as loud as an Aventador would be ok? Lmao. Getting the tone right in these BMW i6s is hard, making them loud and ricey isn't.

ArmanE46 dude, I have a FBO Dinan 335... I don’t need your lecture on how to make these cars sound good. The Dinan axle back and res delete is plenty loud and has a stock tone that beats every bmw i6 I’ve ever heard. Bangs and pops on stock tune in sport mode isn’t that bad at all. Not immature or overly aggressive. Cars has a nice volume and tone which is what I was going for.
