I was sitting in my living room in Manhattan watching this wonderful video and I suddenly had an urge to have some Uzbek plov for dinner. So I’m about to get on the subway and head for the Brighton Beach section of Brooklyn to pick some up at the Tashkent Market, which has a large section of prepared hot foods representing not only Uzbekistan but many of the other cuisines of the former Soviet republics!

As a Londoner, I am quite jealous. We only have one place in the whole city that serves Plov. Uzbek food is one of the best kept secrets in the world

You know they have those in the city, right.
My wife and I enjoy your videos. They are very informative. We live 2 hours west of Chicago. Uzbekistan looks like a very clean city compared to many in the USA. I was also very impressed with the curriculum for grades 1-4. Sadly, the quality of education in our public schools has deteriorated in the past 30 years.

Thank you Slava for sharing your thoughts and experiences about my hometown. But you know what I can say about my family we're not flush with money as well as others, we have 3 kids, my husband has a small business in Tashkent and only he is the breadwinner of our household, I don't like working but rather I love spending his money 😅, despite this we can afford leisure outdoor activities like skiing, etc, twice a month, and once a week sometimes twice a week we can eat in restaurants.
I enjoy exploring and learning about other cultures through your videos. It seems like an emerging city of the future possibly.
So nice to hear from you again! It was nice to see Konstantin's family visiting - how about your family? How do you keep in touch with them? Uzbekistan seems to be a pleasant place for lots of internet-connected Russians to land. Do you have thoughts about settling in Uzbekistan more permanently, or maybe moving somewhere else? Being a traveler, you could probably live just about anywhere that has decent connections to other places. How easy is it to travel from Uzbekistan to other countries? (questions, questions...but inquiring minds want to know!)

You don't know what neurotic driving is like until you visit Saudi Arabia. I was in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia a month ago, and the drivers in western Saudi Arabia at least are maniacs(except for the newly-enfranchised women drivers from whom the males can learn lessons about proper driving).

The forhand is different to your backhand grip, so you have to change and the grip to your serve is different and you have to make a rotation of your hands ancle. Informe yourself watching such lessons on youtube. Very usefull.
