The thing that I like about your playstyle is that you're not just patient, you're extremely patient. There are so many times when you can finish off a player (as most of us would) but you decide to reposition yourself instead, regroup, and then go back on the offensive. No matter how hard I try, I always fall sucker for an enemy who's at 20% health, I go for the finish .. get it .. but then die myself. I'm just not a very tactical player lol and I've been playing for a loooong time. I mean sometimes I get it right, but that's few and far between.

repositioning is hard with melee characters, sometimes you NEED to stick a kill to even odds or relieve pressure. sorcs have a much easier time with maintaining target, while also being able to quickly break line of sight. and this guy is a master at that. he nukes someone to 20%, dips around a corner, then pops back out and zips through to get the group stun so he can kill the person without interrupt. hes on PC so his skills work when he casts them, and he has mouse aim to select targets even in a crowded group. dude is a BEAST

Lolol, so true, but sometimes you just need your name to be on “that guys” death recap even if it means getting zerged down.

Even though the current devasting state of magsorc, you keep playing and enjoying the class. That's one of the reasons I like RPG, since not everyone is chasing the meta

I stopped playing my magsorc months ago. I don't have the skill for it. I hope they do something to make it more competitive for us regular players.

Well if not for the small shield buff they did some time ago I wouldn't be here either :p It's just playable now but not much good compared to the better classes and difficult to get used to.

sorc is great in battlegrounds where you have terrain to dance around and distance to generate. but in the fields of cyrodil, you get chased down too easily most of the time.... imo

Nice cool build. Thought the magsorc was dead but now it seems playable. But still, wasn't prepare to meet you and u re buddy Arcanist after crafting the set. You guys have thick hides :D

This is the best my magsorc has been for a long time, glad we finally got some love

Nice fight, wish I could find players like those to fight more often, every red that's on when I'm on are either part of a giant faction stack that doesn't split up, an organised "small" scale (like 6-8 players, technically a mini-ball instead of a true small scale) or a full ball group.... Makes getting these fights next to impossible as a solo player unless I follow a zerg around hoping the zerg distracts enough of the other zerg for me to only pull a few away at a time.

Actually there was one of those smallscales that was chasing me in the keep too before the clip started. I cut it out though cause it's just me running away and the music didn't allow for a longer clip. What you do, trying to distract some zerglings, is the same as what I often do for a good fight though!

The execute can work too (as a burst ability), but I don't use it here because slotting mage light gives me a bigger shield, more damage and allows me to use tristat potions rather than crit potions.

It will force magsorcs to run status effect builds with draugrkin and maybe also asylum destro. It'll also make it so we have to heavy attack more, right now there's no reason to do so on sorc.

I would love to see you play a ranged magblade that’s similar to your mag sorc. Destro front bar with elemental weapon and swallow soul/crushing shock with spec bow as the offensive skill set up. High sustain with wretched so you can play the dodge roll style, but instead of streak you have shade to teleport to safety. Using dampen magicka shield with NB’s burst heal and vigor. I don’t have access to my PC or I’d try it, but I feel like you would destroy people on it

I personally don't see the point of playing ranged magblade when you can play a melee roller or brawler (which I already played but didn't make a video of). That said, it can work, maybe with master inferno but definitely not with a shield, the nb healing toolkit with vigor is way better to use instead.

@@MalcolM. I played a lot of NB, so I know ranged isn’t the Meta way of playing it. But I’ve always liked the feel of a ranged magblade. I had a ranged NB for duels that was nasty back in the day. I think you could make some really entertaining content with one, just saying

@@elite6642 that cp perk is still there but since I only run 1 shield rather that three like back then I don't find it worth it over survival instincts. Good points about ranged magblade, who knows maybe I'll give it a go and have fun with it too.

Well played but obviously against potatoes. It’s sad to see that even high skilled players can’t perform on magsorc like a half decent player would with dk or stamden and now we even get the destro staff nerfed as if we had that many other options on magsorcs -.-
