Man, it's always a pleasure watching you do your thing on Magsorc. You, and Pelican were major reasons I main'd Magsorc in the first place. The precision on your streak camera control is insane. I thought I was pretty clean with my camera flicks but you're just on a different level lol

I just don’t seem to find a game like ESO. For 1vX it’s just one of, if not the best game excluding shooters (don’t play these). I’m too stubborn to put vigor though and stop running the type of builds that were good 2-3 years ago. Cool to see that you’re still out there.

The second clip looks really close to my current sorc set up only difference is instead of elemental susceptibility i have healing ward and resto ult. I tend to play alot of bgs which is usually full of ovp sweats. Also stacked into high recovery running to recovery sets roksa and wretched. Ik overkill but shield stacking then vigor than dodge roll is insanely expensive but can generally get by with out dark deal.

Excellent gameplay, using the scenery and knowing your skills is the best combination. Could you tell me which sets are you using?

Since the shields cap based on max health, is inner light really more important than running an execute? With everyone running around as vamp stage 3 I think executes are very useful. I understand you get more crit chance with inner light plus the max mag, but I’m curious if you’ve tried running an execute instead and if so, what was your thoughts on it.

A common misconception is that the health cap is relevant for most magsorc builds. It's not, unless if you run way higher magicka and lower health than what I have in my builds. So the health cap does not matter here. I'd say go ahead and try the execute yourself, I didn't find it worth it myself but maybe you'll like it for stealing kills in battlegrounds or the undeath passive you've mentioned.

Lifetime stamblade here, when you streak, do you whip your mouse to turn you around mid-streak so you land facing the opponent?

yep, its common for sorcs to do this since streak very commonly positions the sorc behind its target (it overshoots the target). This is how sorc is able to stay on target, otherwise streak would be a realy bad stun if this wasn't possible and it left you facing away from your target after streaking through them. fyi, any class can do the same rotation trick using mist form, I do it very often when on my NB to get behind someone chasing me and flank them.

Smooth as always I only noticed now you switched to blue. When did you do that ? Have you lost your Grand overlord title and the 50 skillpoints from it doing so ?

I have leveled a copy of my ad sorc on dc years ago, which I play every now and then if I want to fight against ad. This clip is not from the faction locked campaign.

Just made a magsorc "shattered fate + wretched" and idk why but im so damn squishy even when i have my shield up. I have hardened ward on my backbsr tho, should i switch it ? Any tips ? @malcolm

Not more or less than in other forms of pvp or eso content - turn it on if you have screen tearing issues.

At 9:11 your enemy had 13.8k hp what does that final 6k damage?

The fragment I animation cancelled a second before that (roll dodge animation cancel) happened at such speed that the enemy health desynced. Basically the frag hit and dealt the extra damage, but it did not show on his health bar. You can see the frag proc is gone after that roll dodge because I fired it. I don't know if this is a visual bug for my client or whether it also desyncs the health for the enemy's pov, but since it's not much talked about I think this "desync" is only a visual error on my client. I hope that clears it up, let me know if not.

When you become a master at your class you will make it work perfectly no matter how hard they nerf it. And this video right here is the proof.

Did they nerfed MagSorc like last 3-4 days? Somehow its very fragile now

I just made this build and played in Cyro. I mean it's a great Magsorc build but we've been nerfed so much that you just can't beat some tanky damage dealers and they can kill you. You get low on health and it's impossible to come back from playing against a templar with their beam. It's really frustrating being so heavily nerfed. Magsorc has no damage and their survivability is extremely low. Good build though and I was able to kill alot of players that I normally couldn't on my tanky sorc build. I imagine you have to play a lot to find groups of not so good players to get clips like this. You are an awesome magsorc player and your site gives great advise for this class. unfortunately the devs have destroyed our class. Give us back our powerful shields, powerful crystal frags, powerful heals on crit surge, give us back our damage on Overload that they halved the damage in 2017. Give us back our powerful skills and the Magsorc would be be able to compete with the top players on other classes. As is now The magsorc, even on this build just gets owned by templars, DK's, and NB's who all have massive heals and amazing damage. Thanks for the build, and I'll keep using it and try to improve but I don't think it's possible. This is the best a Magsorc can do in the current state.

why never run out of stamina. You use impen trait in the builds on your website, but you click repeatedly and your resources do not run out.

probably running orzorgas smoked bear haunch (tri-recoveries + max health). There's a reason that food is so expensive. it's BiS for sweating in PvP.

On the max mag build (first clip) I had some more well fitted yeah, but this is something I explain in my guide: well fitted is good for stamsustain but you will take more dmg so you need to be quicker on reactions, impen is going to make you a little more tanky and is easier to start out with. Either way I have enough stam sustain to roll a lot. On the max health build (second clip) it's the same story.

He's definitely playing a lot to find easy plebs to nuke. He's good no doubt but some of these players just stand there with no health and not healing. Magsorc has been destroyed by the devs over the years.

I want sorc buffs for pve but champions like you keep making it hard to make a case hahahaah

It’s because they killed our class it’s not the same and the enemies are too tanky and heal to much. You know like I know that are just things the mag sorc CANNOT kill where a mag dk could kill it

Best sorc to ever play was the legendary mage ./ German /Miami then you I other year took but all for of y'all and destroy people

Nice to watch an actual mag sorc, I feel like with all the changes over the last few patches, mag sorc has been left in the past making it a hard class to compete competitively on in PvP 🥲
