Thank you! You will love it.
Thanks for sharing this. I've been going pure hand held for a couple years, and I'm going to try and attach the tripod this summer. Thanks for ideas, happy shooting.

You are welcome! I may try a lightweight crossbar in the future but the tripod method is an easy way to get started. Happy shooting to you as well.

How do you get in and out of the kayak without tipping it? You Must have great balance
Just found your channel and loving it. We also do photography from kayaks, and my wife uses her paddle board.

Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for making this video... Right now I use my 20ft Skeeter as a platform to photograph from... I need a smaller boat. I have been looking at Kayaks... But, thinking about putting my photo gear in one, well, they make me really nervous.

I am thinking about a flat bottom john boat with a trolling motor. It won't get me to some of the same spots as a kayak but still a good option.
Found it!
Great vidéo! Tks. For information, do you have enough space to paddle easily, between the Gimbal and you?

Yes I do!
I would be terrified of dumping my gear in the water.

I carry insurance on all my cameras and lenses.
Do you think that bright orange t-shirt helps with wildlife photography? No effect? Curious.

LOL, probably not, I was just showing my setup. However, with eagles, it would not matter. But with other creatures it would be better to be wearing camo or neutral colors. I need to paint my kayak as well.
what lifetime kayak is it please?

How did ya make out with the inflatable? Everyone I talk to says they turn over super easy

@@rgman2858 I've been photographing from my inflatable Sea Eagle 385ft for over ten years with never a tipping incident. It's a flat bottomed touring boat with a skeg, I couldn't tip it over if I tried! I stick to calm water lakes, canals and lagoons.
