Great location and very good images Alex. Welcome to Texas! Your decsion to keep the 100-500mm telephoto was a good one and paid off in this video. I see more and more photographers using telephotos with impressive shots rather than just relying the tried and true wide angles.

So glad to see you out and about! Outstanding video in a heavenly place. Where is this? Looking forward to more of your adventures!

I am no one to judge whether a shot is portfolio worthy…..but I think that shot is incredible! And as an avid kayak angler I have to say we have to get you in a more stable kayak!! Great video, one of my favorites! Maybe because the location I think you are in is one of my bucket list trips!

I think you should consider putting that image into your portfolio. It’s breath taking, the broken reflection is to die for, painters would give anything to be able to paint the water in this. Your gut reaction is usually right.

Yes on the portfolio shot, the egret looked great too, if you weren’t happy with clarity, maybe Sharpen AI ? But my favorite was the kayak among the trees at 16:19

I drove (hauled kayaks) from Northern Alabama to Caddo last year. It is one of the few places that I'd make a return trip to.

Those are some nice boots. I understand the nervousness of having the camera out there on the kayak, but it looks like so much fun. I've never had the pleasure of kayaking, but would sure like to.

It wasn't too bad after you are out there for a few days

the "portfolio" shot would look better as a square composition. in the edit there was too much wasted space in the corners, that just gives it more of a chaotic feel. It should be simplified.

I don't know if I missed this in the video, but you were at Caddo Lake right?

Nice shot, but the bird is getting a little bit lost in it. I think that it's a heron. (Not sure if in English it's a grey or a blue heron). It may have been better if more zoomed in on a smaller group of trees with the heron more visible? Like in the shot with the white egret.

It just feels too bright everywhere I think for me, the bird is a bonus
