That's not how you're supposed to deal with a disease you're supposed to be able to sit both your children down and tell them simply what their lives are going to be like with the condition with the one afflicted and the other children in the family to know what they need to do and I expect it to be around their sibling. You don't hide it.

Elise is a jerk for backstabbing Maya. She should’ve taken her anger out on their parents instead of Maya, the one person who was trying to help her. But the parents are massive arseholes for how they handled everything.
