I am 42 Now,came i The states when I was 28,that’s when I started with energy drinks,all fun and games until kidney stones!!after 3 trips to Er treatment and all that I am fine with just black coffee,dark as my Romanian soul!!Good job girl!!You are an Inspiration!!

Energy drinks are nice, until you get older. Of course things effect people differently but the amount of people including myself who developed kidney stones because of energy drinks is ridiculous! I drank them while in the military and a lot while deployed. I no longer drink them as an electrician today.

Kidney stones TYPICALLY form when you don't drink enough water, you're not passing out all the garbage and letting it accumulate in your body. You can tell if you're hydrated enough just by the colour of your piss, you want a light chardonay colour to be considered hydrated my dude!

You go girl 34 yr master commercial industrial electrician here....so I'm guessing and hoping your on the Milwaukee bandwagon lol they have come a long way. My first cordless was a Makita 9.6v and a Lenox hackhaw that was my cordless tools lol good times

Highly recommend that Carhartt jacket. They do last a really long time. 3 to 5 for me. But i wear holes into them from crawlspaces 😢. I'm a beast

Jackets for the cold when on the job is very important! I work in the food industry and I've used the "freezer" jackets in Quebec winters and those things are so much warmer than the ones I find in stores and the fit is less bulky. Industrial clothing is pretty good and built with good insulation. I also have a Columbia "normal" jacket for my off hours, but the work jacket is very nice and practical.

I've had my Carhartt coat for 9 years.Just went through some -30 40 F weather here in Montana, it did fine.

I’m almost 3 years in to my Dakota slip on Blundstone rip offs from Mark’s. A cost effective option for sure. Also have a pair of the 557 waterproof lace ups which are really warm for winters out of doors but heavy. Horses for courses I guess.

i have a pair of red wings... man oh man do they treat you well. good boots and the warranty and service is insane. full resole and repair on 8 year old boots.

I looked at the Blundstones website today. Have you ever tried the lace up style, with the side zipper? Says it takes a couple of weeks to break them in, to be soft. Like you, I've tried multiple brands to stay comfortable all day. Prefer high top for ankle support. They suggest a thick hiking sock. Do you wear a thin, or thick sock with the slip on?

Girl u must try the timberland pro. Foreman boot. Omg really good. I worked in water allot and they would hold up in water n salt for about 6 months. N i need comfy. That they are.

If you want to get some more good years out of your old Blundstones, take them to a local cobler (boot repair spot). They can repair the leather in the toe, and more importantly they can replace the bottom sole, giving your boots years more life (I do this every 2ish years with mine). Highly recommend!

Generally, boots that are cemented soles like Blundstones are not really worth resoling and some cobblers won't work on them.

love seeing what stuff other people are liking on the jobsite i swear all the electricians i watch have some strange addiction to wera, knipex, and fluke.

those blundstones, dark brown leather with black bump cap looks so good. but it's not on their website... im sad.

Have you tried the Knipex cable cutter? Article No.95 36 280 (There are other similar variants as well) It's like cutting through butter.
