Love how there’s more emotion and generally better vocals in the band version. also, the lyrics “there’s just too much that time cannot erase” is a very interesting lyric. this song is about breaking up and since “too much” isn’t specific of what it’s referring to, it can be interpreted as too many negative feelings and being very hurt from the breakup > feeling that no matter how much time passes it will still hurt and can never fully get over it but it has another meaning which I personally love. there’s too many memories together, you’ve already grown accustomed to each other’s presence in your life, you know all the small details about them which differentiate them from others and their habits, so many memories together which can’t be replicated and the genuine love and appreciation they had for each other can never truly be erased by something as trivial as time.
