I work about 50-60hrs a week at my corporate job (I'm a single mom) and this is my dream! I want to be able to quit and do my craft full time so I can spend more time with my daughter. I feel this deep in my soul! I started my business 8 years ago as a way to earn $ for our family to go on a mission trip with our church. It was so well received that I kept it going and it became my full-time business in 2 years. My husband quit his corporate job this April to join me full-time!!! I have always sewed, as my mother was an excellent seamstress, but got into embroidery and HTV about 10 years ago to do stuff for my children & grands. I have watched many of your earlier videos - just recently did a curved neck embroidery after seeing yours and about to do the MAMA sweatshirt. This was so super encouraging. May I ask, have you both just decided to purchased ready made transfers to keep it simple? So all you have to do is press to your shirts and send out? Thank you so much Monica! Yes so we make our own Screen Print Transfers (my husband designs them) and sends to a company called TKO who prints them for us! You could also buy ready made prints or DTF prints, depending on the look you want or designs there are so many great designers out there! We love the ease of having things already ready to press vs. having to custom make each order! Find your style, what your customers like and you can either create transfers or buy them ready made!
