True but not the same. Most of these women are devout Muslims who have never shown their hair or body to anyone besides family. I saw this story on reddit and I was heart broken for the girl and then when she mentioned she was a niqabi, it absolutely shattered me for that poor women! What a disgusting betrayal Either way the action is absolutely horrible but the fact that her husband is the only person who saw her body and he did that! Especially as he is Muslim as well and understands the absolute importance of modesty for us Muslims makes me so mad!

This was genuinely heartbreaking. I teared up. I am not a Muslim woman but that is a violation that cuts deep and is so foul. I really hope he gets arrested that was Despicable.

I don’t let my husband have pictures of me without a hijab in his phone. He doesn’t understand that his phone can end up in one of his colleagues or friends. Alhamdulillah he respects my wishes

What a good friend. I can’t imagine having to bring that up to ANYONE yet alone a niqabi. Not only do I have to talk about being on a porn site, which is embarrassing to talk to Muslims about because some of us are VERY pious, but also just to tell her that’s happened. And as a new hijabi this is terrifying. Before reverting, I’ve had nudes leaked and it bothered me because of the violation, despite my VERY liberal beliefs on nudity. The betrayal is an entire different pain than just the wrongdoing itself.

Also-niqabi, hijabi, Muslim, Christian, aethiest, prostitute, president, queen-this is WRONG. Her dedication to modesty makes it worse but this is insane. The ONLY decent thing about this is as a niqabi, she won’t be identified by men outside of her mahram. Doesn’t make it better but a bit better because if she WAS from a country that does mercy killings, the ones most likely to do so can’t even tell it’s her. Except her male mahram, which is actually who would do it, so never mind. I’ve considered myself Muslim for years, was raised multifaith including Islam, but only took my shahada yesterday. And of course today I’m flooded with content about the situation in Iran, the French sports hijab ban, and now this. It’s not discouraging at all I just want to make dua more for those affected. I’m hoping as now that I’ve taken my shahada and am Muslim in Allah’s eyes, that my duas will mean more and be more affective. This is disgusting and I just (as a black southern American) really just want to make her dinner. I know that won’t help but we southern heal with food in copious amounts and truthfully nothing I can do would help her feel less violated in this time.

I’m not Muslim, but even I would be horrified by someone doing this to me, I can’t even imagine the betrayal of being a niqabi, and having your spouse, who you should be able to trust do something like that to you.

I saw that she posted an update, so maybe you can do a follow up video? She explains that the man had a whole lot more sick problems and addictions and that when she confronted him, she got arrested for assault 😩. My heart bleeds for her. I don’t think she said anything about kids? May Allaah protect her and bless her with a new nice, loving, RICH husband. Someone perfect for her.

As far as i understood her friend isn't muslim. Watching those kind of videos on that pornografic site might be something she does from time to time and then she might have stumbled on one of the leaked videos of our sister. And that catching her by surprise she probably decided to check the account that posted the video just to then find another video of our sister leaked as well. Also since her friend isn't muslim, she could've been straight up with our sister and tell her that she saw her on that site, cause she wouldn't be as ashamed of telling others that she watches porn like a muslim would be. So nonetheless if it wasn't for her friend, then this could still have been an on-going thing and who knows for how long the husband would disrespect his wife without her knowing. Alhamdulilah that friend told her, and may Allah help our sister and ease her pain! I just can't imagine how devasting she must have been. I honestly don't know what to say.. If you are reading this sweetheart, just know that Allah is with you!

I think you so get paid, just as you’ve stated, once it spread that doesn’t pay to the original owner. I read another little story some years ago, that it can be quite profitable. A man and his wife would post and make $2,500 the first week of posting when the sites push the newer videos in the algorithm and after it will continue to accrue money but like $100 to $200 a week

She also should get counseling/therapy regarding this as it's a horrifying situation that I know has happened in almost every community including among muslims.
