I thank God that in my diocese of Lagos in Nigeria, an announcement is explicitly made at daily Mass before communion that only Catholics who are in the state of grace should approach to receive communion. Incidentally Nigeria ranks as one of the highest in the Catholic Church worldwide for attendance at Mass both on Sundays and weekdays. The Eucharist is the greatest treasure of the Church and is not open to ambiguous interpretation like the Bible that even the devil can quote and distort! It is the abiding presence of our Lord Jesus with us forever!

Your clarity is beautiful; let us truly embrace the WHOLE truth & nothing but the truth in Jesus holy name & saving power. Lord, impart to us the courage & humility to speak the whole truth in love so as to move beyond the “suffocating silence in the church today.

I 100% believe in the real presence of the Holy Eucharist. My second conversion was because of it. Walking toward the priest in the communion line on Divine Mercy Sunday and behind the priest was a huge statue of Jesus on the cross. I was staring at the cross and the priest said, body of Christ, all of sudden this love, a love never felt before took my breath away that day when I received the Holy Eucharist, a love that was burning in my heart and not from this world. I only lasted for a second if any longer I would have passed out. God is truly present. We need to spread this truth to everyone as it is what our Catholic faith is truly all about 🙏 May God bless you, Ralph

Greetings Dr. Martin. This is your old student the janitor with lots of kids and now deacon. We in the East believe that we need to teach that Christ is fully present in every liturgy and most present in the Eucharist. Thank you for your teaching.

The four pilgrimages are awesome! I just returned from 3 days with the Marian route. Amazing experience - prayerful, gloriously reverent, and inspiring.

Perhaps there should be a call for repenting at the same time the Eucharist revival is going on Come Holy Spitit

The more the local parish embraces the truths of Jesus, repents and helps each other walk with Christ, the better hope for revival. A short-lived, one time national conference will not, as nice as it will be to gather. Pray for the revival in local parishes.

The cost of discipleship in Christ is high and God gives us all we need to cover this price. If hearing and knowing the Truth causes you fear, know that God has all the remedies that you will need to return to Him with your whole heart. Thank you Dr. Martin.

Amen. Dr. Martin, I’m discerning how I can support your ministry more. I love the Spirit-led, tactful, balanced approach you take. I just mailed an eye-brow raising letter to our archdiocese’s bishop in St. Louis (Bsp. Mitchell Rozanski) & CC’d it to a number of select priests & His Holiness himself. It was a response to Saint Louis University’s recent LGBT+ conference entitled, “ Ignatius Q“, featuring a “Drag Brunch” & closing with a “Queerly Beloved Mass”.

Our Blessed Mother will bring this about this Eucharist Revival with the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart.

Eucharistic Revival needs a repentance from us!

What I've come to appreciate recently is that repentance could be more important than confession insofar as there's not really much point confessing the same sin repeatedly in the absence of sincere repentance. There's no point deceiving oneself or insulting the Lord with insincere contrition during confession or outside of confession. If a person truly repents, then he won't really need to be frequenting the confessional at least with the same old sins. Thanks Ralph!

Good stuff. Should be preached at Holy Mass regularly. Eucharist, Holy Spirit, Who is this Jesus, unworthily approaching Holy Communion.

Ralph, laypeople will know when they take their faith seriously and start prayerfully reading Scripture and following the Lord through it. We need to stop acting like little children who need to be told what to do all the time and start taking the faith we claim to have in Jesus seriously by knowing, loving, and serving Him through Scripture. When we do that then the current problem with the Eucharistic will go away, and that includes all those in the clergy too who don't really have respect for Scripture and a relationship with the Lord through it as well.

I have family members being married outside of the church and priests they have spoken too giving wishy washy guidance as expected. I've asked our priests about attending such ceremonies and as expected been told it's okay to attend invalid weddings to which I say then WHY have any doctrines if the same answers are always given as guidance which amount to just avoiding family conflicts and arguments and separation. As you said....even clergy refuses to provide TRUTHFUL guidance because everyone wants to avoid the hard talks....
