I have such huge respect for you when you said how long you've had to wait and save before buying some of your bags. I don't think enough youtubers are relatable in that sense. You have a beautiful collection though.

I remember saving and buying my fendi baguette in selfriges in the 90s when the Dior saddle was trending too, couldn’t afford that! Now I’m just saving for my eye bags to be fixed 🤣

The aging leather on LV you have trouble with is their vacchetta (in case you ever want to look up treatment or anything). The advice that some people received from sales associates and what I have been doing and has proven brilliant is the following: Leave the bag in a well lit area with no direct sunlight for 3 days straight after purchasing it, turn it around from time to time (that includes all parts that have vachetta including the strap). Then leave it in direct sunlight to tan several times for several hours before using it. What it does - it gives a basic "ground tan". Now if you want to say wait no - I want to keep the milky nude shade. You won't. Any type of untreated light leather will age. It will age unevenly at worst. Better to get a base tan going - with an even base tan it stains less easily and it ages way better. Like the tanning on top will not get as uneven with a good base tan. when leaving it in the sun for a couple of hours for several sessions, do remember to turn it from time to time, and if you have a vacchetta strap undo the strap (to avoid "tan lines" where the closures sit :D).

In 2018 I bought vintage Dior Saddle bag in very good condition for $250, vintage Fendi baguette also for $250. Since they are a bit trendy, I cant justify spending thousands of$ while the vintage one look almost the same print. thankyou for the video, you have a gorgeous collection.....

Lovely collection - and peaking at your insta, it seems you purchased what you wanted and more ;) Also nice hearing about the periods in between purchasing your bags. Very much a (luxury) handbag freak myself, but since graduating and moving out onto my own my financial priorities have shifted big time and splurging on larger luxury pieces is currently not in the cards for me. Sometimes I get sad about that but my time will come again, plus.... paying bills is a much bigger priority always!
