Maybe the Chanel classic goes with everything because it is just so popular that we saw it in every type of outfit 100+ times and our eyes got used to it. We then subcontiously find it pleasing to the eye when it is actually just familiar to our brains. I find myself liking all of the trends that I see more times.

I agree! Honestly for me it’s a very formal bag and I rarely wear mine, but after seeing it over and over again on IG worn with really casual outfits I am starting to like that look as well

Lovely collection!!!!!! The Trendy CC buffs out so easily with a few rubs and bam!!!! It’s more durable than most think.

First off, love the collection! Second, I totally understand the love of Chanel even when their quality isn't perfect (which is sad). I think right now I am pretty happy (and lucky) with my collection, which includes two small classic flaps, medium classic flap, mini coco handle, square mini, and reissue mini - did I over overboard with Chanel? Maybe... But 100% happy with it. Though I still have seller remorse for selling my rectangular mini in 2 years ago...

Totally understand the Chanel bug haha! I told myself when I bought a black caviar medium classic flap earlier this year that it would be my one and only Chanel bag. Now here I am buying another two classic flaps in their new collection later this week.

My favorite of all your bags is the Chanel Trendy. It literally takes my breath away every time.

The Louis Vuitton Capucines and the Chanel trendy CC are the most beautiful 😍😍

That’s why I bought my medium caviar classic flap from 2007 from when they still used actual gold for their hardware. Never will tarnish🙏🏻 bought it last year and have no complaints at all.

Hey Freya, some of my leather bags also squeak, if you put some talcum powder on there it gets rid of the squeak and then you can just wipe it off your bag with a baby wipe, it completely removes the squeak noise and is not harmful to your bag at all!

I really loved the color of the hourglass bag (now I want exactly that one 🙃). It’s amazing and it looked stunning with your outfit. I think most influencers say they like neutrals because they really don’t know how to style colors so neutrals are safe (but a bit boring). I think you should challenge yourself incorporating more color in your collection and learning how to style them. Loved your pink link Chanel! It’s stunning. Colors bring light in your skin use then more 🤗😉

I think with non-neutrals yeah you have to be more thoughtful about it, but also jf you wear it too often, because of how memorable it is, people notice that you keep re-wearing it... And you do too, and in that way you can get bored of it faster.

@@LiliS319 that’s the fun of fashion to mix and match to create many looks using the certain pieces. Like mixing colors with neutrals or color with color. It think if you wear neutrals all the time people can tell too (I least I do) and yah that’s boring and too easy for someone who wants to be or be considered a fashionista.

Freya I remember when you got the balenciaga and you styled so many cool and pretty outfits with it 👌🏻👏🏻 maybe it's just because UK hasn't had the best spring summer weather it's been Under used. I reckon if we had 2020 summer weather this year you would've used it loads again xx

Agreed- your hair is stunning- regarding Chanel hardware tarnishing- until 2008, all gold hardware was 24k gold plated- the best thing about that (other than the stunning rich gold color), is that you can have it replated. I have a few vintage pieces, only one that has needed replating. If you can find them, they are such high quality.❤

Love KKUWAN the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other KZreadr can show off bags in as much detail as you.

A month ago I was about to purchase the YSL hobo bag, it is definitely beautiful, but right after I tried it on I have just noticed how easily the leather gets scratched and rippled.. I asked for another, but the one they brought was also the same, so eventually I gave up on this bag. You would expect better quality from YSL. I have some YSL bags I really love btw. Now I am considering Prada re edition in saffiano leather as a similar option to choose instead of the YSL hobo.

Thank you for your review, I almost bought a so black trendy but was worried about the leather/wear and tear. I think I'll stick to the caviar rectangular mini flap with top handle or Business Affinity instead, assuming I can find one. Love the baguette, I would definitely get an insert so it holds it's shape. And the YSL Cassandra is awesome, she's coming on vacation with me in October. The mini Capucines is also on my wish list, fingers crossed I can find one in Ireland next month.

Omg loved this video! I am like you and all I wear is black and neutrals, but I just love pinks and lilacs but never wear those colors except on my nails haha. So I think bringing a pop of color in terms of a handbag is a great idea! Thats why I am looking for a pink handbag to add to my collection. I am eying a YSL WOC at the moment which is in the perfect pink, but it has silver hardwear which makes me hesitate since I only wear gold juwelry... but I think you Chanel mini in pink has also silver hardwear hasn't it? Beaut collection!! Love my black and red trendy’s, but yes the leather is not great! I returned the black one and bought it preloved instead, the leather before 2016 was much better! I have the same pink in the mini square.. just worried I won’t be able to style it much! But the colour is so cute. The Chanel bug is definitely real! 😅😅😅
