My grandmother lived almost 100 years old because she baked healthy lentil bread. WITHOUT flour and sugar

Recipe and ingredients:
250 grams of lentils.
700ml of water.
Mix well and leave for 8 hours.
The grains will swell and remove excess water.
Add 100ml of pure water.
Grind with a blender.
30ml olive oil.
Continue to grind and mix with a blender.

2 tablespoons of psyllium.
Mix dry ingredients well.
add to the chopped lentils.

1 tablespoon rice flour.
mix well.
1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Grease a bread pan
vegetable oil.
Put the dough in the form.
a handful of sunflower seeds.
Handful of sesame.
Bake in the oven for 60 minutes at 200°C.
Bread is ready!
While it cools I make the sauce.
250g Greek yoghurt.
Cucumber.
Dill.
Salt.
mix well.
Add 1 teaspoon of dry garlic.
I mix well.

Кориандр давно знали наши родители и мои дедушка с бабушкой,они его сеяли всегда и мака много было в огородах, и всяких корешков полезных. Мама пекла прекрасный хлеб с кориандром,а с маком булки,хотя мы тоже называли их сладкой хлеб,хотя сахара там не было,а ржаная мука была очень сладкая,ну тогда нам казалось так

А моя бабушка ребенок войны, осталась сиротой и никто её не учил выращивать кориандр, в военные годы собирали гнилую картошку на огороде и готовили из них драники. А мака действительно было много и булочки с ним пекли. Ещё коноплю выращивали и делали из семян масло, и веники из неё хорошие получались. Насчёт полезных корешков- что вы имеете а виду?

Hallo aus Germany, Kaiserslautern. Ich habe das Brot gebacken in der doppelten Menge. Benutzt hatte ich anstatt des Reismehl das Kastanienmehl ( hatte ich noch Zuhause im Schrank). Sehr gut geworden und sehr, sehr lecker. Meine Familie und Freunde waren begeistert. Ich backe das Brot mittlerweile auf Vorrat und es lässt sich portionsweise auch eingefrieren. Die Soße ist auch sehr lecker. Überhaupt, Ihre Rezepte sind sowieso alle lecker. Danke dafür.🤗🙋♀️👍

Well my mother-in-law is 93 years old.. raised 7 kids, never smoked, city girl most of her life and ate the standard American diet. And her father lived til 97 and her mother 85. Also city people.

Your grandmother probably didn't know psyllium...😉 Bread made from soaked legumes is a heavy bread and better be aired with coarsely broken walnuts, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds in the dough. I season it with caraway and a little sweetener to break the bitter taste of the legumes. If you are not sensitive to yeast, you better replace the baking powder with dry yeast. They add the taste (and smell) of delicious bread.

Lisa. I think she means it was not intriduced to American market until 1934 so her grandmother would only have used it later in life.

Great idea to use chia seeds. I, too, prefer chia. Chia absorbs much water so you might need to adjust for that? Blessings from Texas.

Естественно, дело в генах. Я знакома с женщиной, которая первую пломбу в зубе поставила в 67 лет. Все зубы здоровые. Питается однообразно, фрукты и овощи ест мало, любит халву, сендвичи, выпечку. И с таким питанием - абсолютно здоровые зубы в достаточно преклонном возрасте. По логике автора ролика, можно советовать такую "диету", и зубы будут здоровыми.

I have been making various kinds of bread for more than 50 years, so here's my opinion. I think most any kind of flour would work here: all purpose, whole wheat, rye, oat, barley, and so forth. I think most any kind of legume would work including black lentils. I doubt the lemon is necessary for structural success, but its presence or absence will alter the flavor. When using baking soda NOT baking powder, an acidic element is necessary for leavening to work, but baking powder is used here, so not likely an issue. I wish you great success in your efforts. The things I have learned have been by considerable experimentation, both failures and successes. Be bold, learn from all your outcomes.

Ingredients and Directions: 250 g green lentils 700 ml water Soak overnight or for 8 hours. Drain water and add 100 ml fresh water to the lentils. Puree the lentils with an immersion blender. Add 30 ml of olive oil and continue to puree. In a small bowl, mix together: 2 heaping tbsp of white rice flour 1 tsp turmeric 1 tbsp ground coriander 1 tsp baking powder 2 heaping tbsp psyllium husk 1 tbsp salt Mix these dry ingredients well and then add the mixture to the green lentil puree. Mix well with a rubber spatula. Now, add another tbsp of rice flour to the mix, blend well and then add 1 tbsp of lemon juice to the mix. Line a loaf pan with baking paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Add the dough to the pan and smooth it down flat into the bottom. Top with a handful of sunflower seeds and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Bake at 200 degrees for an hour. Remove from the oven, remove the bread from the pan and peel away the baking paper. Let the bread cool on a rack. Make the following to spread on the bread, if desired: Mix together in a bowl: 250 gr greek yogurt 1 medium cucumber, finely grated with the skin on 1/3 to 1/2 cup of finely chopped fresh dill 1 tsp of garlic powder 1/2 tsp of salt. I don't have rice flour, so I'll try that. Maybe with just a little cornstarch? It sounds like a great recipe.

I think mixing the dough would go more quickly and easily if you used a food processor instead of an immersion blender. But every cook must use the tools in his or her kitchen. I find it is always a good idea to get more lentils in your life. Thank you for the recipe.
