He dodged a bullet. I wonder if it will be easy for him to get a vasectomy when he is young and not having kids, it sounded like his doctor was okay with it without any problems. I think that's good because his body, his choice! I only know the perspective here in Germany and for young people without children who want sterilization/vasectomy it is almost impossible to find a doctor who will let them do it.

The first story, I was in op’s position but a bit different. A long time ago, me and my friends were over another friend’s house… (We’ll call this particular friend, Davey.) we were watching a movie, we often took turns going our houses and watch movies. Lame I know. But I digress… We were over Davey’s house and with his new girlfriend, we were watching a movie called Jessabelle. Which sucked. But my opinion. And Davey’s girlfriend got in my face and started accusing me of being a rac1st which I’m not. Davey and a couple of the friends were telling me to just go along with it to ‘Keep the peace.’ And I refused, I know that it was stupid, but she was willing to die on the hill. Story 3 had my jaw dropping. I really hope OP decided to divorce her. I remember pregnancy messing with my body so much I didn’t feel like myself at times. Yeah, I can understand someone being different to an extent when pregnant considering what it does to the body but dear lord there is no way I’d of been able to put up with the wife if she was acting like that. If friends and family have a problem with it they can take care of her until she gives birth.

Story 1- as a woman I must say I approve the swiftness of Op in ending the relationship, with NO SEX after her threatening statement. Statements like that are NOT jokes. Men who get the vasectomy ,go to your 6 months and 1 year in multi-year check ups, the surgery you can fail a lot more common than you think, and I know a couple of guys who thought their wife had cheated on them ,and completely blown up their marriage, but they just didn't go to the yearly check up...their vasectomy failed

Story 3: The pregnancy wasn't the cause of her abusive tendencies. That person she was when she was pregnant was the real her. It is the hormonal birth control that made her the woman you fell in love with. Without those hormones in her system, she will revert to her true self.
