What upsets me the most about "All Engines Go", is Mattel's overall attitude towards not only the reboot, but their attitude towards Thomas, the fans, the RWS, and kids in general.

Yeah ... that only adds to the frustration, I've never seen a company be this much of an asshole to their customers in my entire life . Mattel have become an absolute disgrace to everything, and to be honest, if they keep going the way they're going they are going to go bankrupt and it will be all their own fault

Bulstrode's change was kinda like my original retcon for the red engine and two blue engines that appeared in the first book. But I edited the story to make them rude to Edward like the were originally.

The day Mattel goes out of business, we will all rejoice. This programme is one of the worst shows I have ever seen.

What would be the point of different gauges in the AEG universe? I mean, the engines can extend their axles, so the different sizes don’t matter.

I noticed that Hiro sang a song in Race for the Sodor Cup. In the original series, Hiro was one of many characters who didn’t even sing in the CGI era. Many notable others include Whiff, Harvey, Skiff, Ryan, Jack, Alfie, Oliver the Excavator, Max, Monty, Terence, Bulgy, Rusty, Duncan, Luke, Victor, Kevin, Spencer, Arry, Bert, Den, Dart, Captain, Butch, Rocky, Owen, Merrick, Henrietta, Hannah, Gator, Judy, Jerome, Millie, Glynn, Samson, Bradford, Connor, Winston, Reg, Sonny, Flying Scotsman, Duchess and the likes..

Also I have a found a coincidence.. Sodor Cup Piston Cup! I think Mattel is deliberately rip off Pixar’s Cars.. Lightning McQueen would definitely not approve of Mattel’s rip off which of course originated from the you know what reboot of a certain tank engine!

You forgot about Harold coming back for All Engines Go. I'm pretty sure that Harold would rather crash and burn than be in this reboot.

Maybe next season they will replace the child voices with more professional VAs, even though that is unlikely, considering the possible costs.

I agree with most of your points you made. Especially mentioning James, Edward, and Henry in this new shitty series. How the hell does Thomas remember James' name, but not Edward and Henry and he calls them "those trains". I also find it weird that Edward has 6 front wheels when he should have 4. Idk what Henry's wheels look like, but it's probably similar to Gordon's wheels, except there's no wheels at the back. As for the merchandise, I ain't wasting my money on that shit. I'd prefer getting Hot Wheels and Disney Cars rather than that shit. And as for the Race for the Sodor Cup, I didn't watch the full movie, but I didn't bother anyway since it sucks ass. I'd rather watch The Great Race since I remember watching it back in 8th grade and it was such a memorable time even though they could've done a better job with The Great Race.

For once, in real life, a 6 front wheel locomotive was actually real until its death: Pennsylvania Railroad 6100 is a monster duplex engine built by the Altoona shops in 1938-39, the type is a S1, and has a four cylinder setup, the front and back wheels have 6 trailing and pilot wheels, it was 140 or 50+ long, no wonder it was nicknamed: the big engine. After being displayed at the 1939 New York world fair, the S1 was used on PRRS mainline between chahigo and crestline, pulling deluxe passenger trains, unfortunately like the later T1, it had wheel slip. After 7 years in service, 6100 was retired in 1946, and scrapped in 1949, a quiet end for the big engine.

Honestly, I still wish that all engines go were a television series that sir topham hatt and his family were watching! Just not another alternate universe. It will be like Robin watches Teen Titans go, then he immediately dislikes it. As a Thomas fan, I wanna see that type of final kinda episode exist! And no! If I ever say that separate series is better than the show we grew up with, it'll be like saying that I believe Vegeta will still defeat Kakarot!

Fingers crossed that after series 2 of the reboot they will return to the previous animation and make a proper return for bulstrode

9:50 And if you want to see a better movie with a better climax, I'd recommend watching The Great Fire of Pontypandy. 12:28 And I hope Mattel adds crossover characters as supporting characters in the movie. (If you don't know what I mean, well..... Essentially, in my Thomas & Friends universe, I always add crossover characters to a storyline like Pingu and the Teletubbies).

I honestly think Mattel may have gone a bit too far when they came up with this idea, it does look quite terrible. I know people hated the CGI seasons but atleast they were more liked than this total garbage. Considering that this petty excuse of a show got an opinion from Britt Allcroft (that is actually true), it's just showing that Mattel are assuming 2D animation is the way to go. Yeah sure, there are some *good* examples of that but this isn't one of those.

Lets face it, tv show creators and KZread kids think that kids are stupid and if its a cartoon the kids will like it. Why can't we have shows like The Backyardigans or the original seasons of Arthur and Rugrats, instead we have stupid (in my opinion) shows like Bubble Guppies and this reboot. I'm done with shows these days, I will always watch shows I like, but if anyone likes these shows than I respect your opinion

After watching a few more episodes of All Engines Go, I now DESPISE it. I'm downgrading it to a 3/10, however, the All Engines Go special I watched, Race for the Sodor Cup, gets a 5.5/10, mainly because it has antagonists and Hiro and Bulstrode's voice is pretty good. Not to mention we now get to hear what Bulstrode's horn sounds like. One more thing, it is also like the Bob the Builder Reboot, but at least the Bob The Builder Reboot has the potential of being good in my opinion.

Thomas was built in 1915, so he's 107 this year.

all engines go is a different canon to the series. the company may want it to be canon or not but in most / all people's eyes it is not canon. i think the reason thomas referred to edward and henry as "those trains" is because gordon hasnt really introduced all the little engines to the other ones (still doesnt make up for any shit that went down in that scene) just my theory that the old and young engines aren't that close together besides gordon and james

Race For The Sodor Cup is fine in my opinion having second thoughts but the great race will always be better.

I bet if Thomas All Engines Go has a crossover with the Backyardigans since it's owned by Nelvana, then it would probably be somewhat ok but still not good because Mattel would probably change up their designs and personalities. Plus, I'm afraid that they'll remove Austin too just like how Edward, Henry, and Toby were removed from the steam team.

I have an Idea on how Diesel 10 could work in All Engines Go. He's the number 1 enemy for the 6 main characters and tries to ruin their deliveries, but fails.

Whenever Mattel goes bankrupt, the entire Thomas fandom shall rejoice, then hopefully it gets bought by a company that actually cares and gives it new life

@@TrevortheTrainFan Did Mattel possibly also get the rolling stock moving by themselves idea from episodes like Thomas saves the Day (Seasons 1 & 8), Foolish Freight Cars, James in a Mess, A Close Shave for Duck, Rusty helps Peter Sam, Busy Going Backwards, Snow, Harvey to the Rescue, and of course The Adventure Begins? Was it just because of gravity and the Foolish Freight Cars were only running downhill? They would've stopped as soon as they reached the bottom. I feel like even Wilbert Reverend Awdry didn't write everything 100% realistic, I know nobody's perfect, for example, Awdry stated that engines only have faces when they're on Sodor but not on the Mainland or anywhere else in the world yet in the unadapted episode Gordon goes Foreign, he goes to London yet he still has face in England, is that another alternate reason why it wasn't adaption into TV other than budget expensives? I'm highly guessing Mattel (and Andrew Brenner) saw that just thought sure why not and adapted Journey Beyond Sodor, BWBA (the movie and international episodes), and The Royal Engine

Even tho BWBA was bad, I still pretty enjoyed more than the reboot. Mattel needs to realized that they are literally milking an good franchise and making it awful than the previous reboots.

Same with me if I ever get the push along Thomas and friends all engines go Gordon James henry and Emily I would replace their smaller tenders with 2020 trackmaster ones

I have heard complaints about all engines go because parents and kids are upset about this I had tests all engines go with my four-year-old brother even though I still think it's bad average mixed bag and pretty forgettable, he legitimately thanks it's good and he seemed to like it and whenever December comes I might ask my four-year-old brother if he wants to have time for teamwork on to DVD. The merchandise in my opinion is alright just not on the series you know it is a separate series at this point which is a good thing I might be getting the merchandise just for the sake of Thomas collecting. ( And maybe I could have my four-year-old brother play with the all entrance Go toys of the motorized ones just so that I won't have to worry about coming into my engine room but for the push along engines no) I have seen race for the Sodor cup and I think that it is a guilty pleasure and kind of average it's really nice that Bulstrode has spoke and I do like his us voice and for the new characters they're alright even though it literally had bad things it had some good things like continuity to Percy Takes the plunge as well as bringing Harold back but with a few differences his the name is gone and he has a gray face now. I agree that Marc Foster will do a good job and hopefully it will stay true to the source material just so that it could be the biggest success ever but if it isn't then nothing left.

I have seen Dragon run before and I think it's kind of bad an average but however it is pretty good that Edward and Henry appeared in the series but the problem that I had is Thomas saying, Oh no it's going to hit those trains! Really do you seriously have to call them trains I think it could have been better if they didn't put trains in the script and make it a little bit better by having Thomas saying, Oh no it's going to hit Edward and Henry! Now that would be better now would it? Peanuts is a pretty good franchise I do remember seeing the Peanuts movie back in 2015 and it was pretty good and I remember owning DVD'S at my local Walmart like Race for Your Life Charlie Brown and Bon Voyage Charlie Brown and don't come back.

Somehow the 2D Thomas reminds me more of Putt-Putt.

Every point you stated in this video, I completely agree with you, like I said this is what killed any interest i had in thomas and friends. But, at least I'm working to reignite that fire for my love for thomas, because it was my childhood for so long, it's going to be a while, but once it does, it will be worth it, and I can still enjoy thomas and friends. I'm not going to support the reboot because it's like the equivalent to Teen Titans Go.

Based on what you said about RFTSC it makes the worst Thomas movie Misty Island Rescue look good. I just don't understand how anyone at Mattel hasn't stepped up and challenged Mattel and let them know this reboot is bad bc as Ferdinand once said "This isn't right" I know there are some people who probably don't like it yet are being forced to work on this. This reboot is probably going to end up like Bob The Builder, fans complain then Mattel tries to make it better by actually giving them what they want but fans still aren't interested and they just stop which I think they just gave up with Bob bc I haven't seen anything else with it and if they do end up just stopping then I would say good riddance bc they're ending Thomas's suffering and this is not what Awdry's creation deserves. I honestly bet he has just shot himself in his grave bc this is just stupid how a greedy company owns a franchise to milk money out of it and piss off it's fanbase from something they never asked for. If this show could get a new buyer and make it look promising then I will have optimism again but if Mattel just decides to cancel it then I wouldn't care at all bc this show has suffered long enough all through the hard times from the failure of TATMR to the boring Hit and Sharon Miller era to the just eh and no of BWBA.

Face it bro. The TVS are replaced by Fan creations. Funny enough, I like These better than most of the TV Production cuz it has sth. FOR EVERYONE. Though let's never forget the original TVS regardless. They're the reason for the fandom creations existence.☺☺☺

It looks like similer to My Little pony friendship is magic of that one.

I have NO idea! 🤷‍♂️ It feels as if Mattel wants us fans to forget about them, which sounds cruel.

Yup. I think I kinda like BWBA. I've seen a few clips of it. The voice acting is great and at least the characters have accents unlike All Engines Go.

@@TrevortheTrainFan Did you also know that Arc Productions/Jam Filled Entertainment (formerly known as DKP Studios/Starz Animation during the mid 2000s) produced several VeggieTales episodes from 2004-2008 as well as The Pirates who don't do Anything Movie (and also Gnomeo and Juliet and Sherlock Gnomes)? Also Nitrogen Studios later on produced the CGI Addams Family movie and the sequel.

But All Engines Go! isn't canon to the original series. Even though the events of Yong Bao and the Tiger were mentioned in The Tiger Train.

I’m actually gonna buy an AEG Trackmaster one day. Why? So I can use it as an original character in my series (I’ll give it a repaint) and in that story the character dies in a catastrophic crash and that way I can destroy it. I know what James the red engine would say “Good ridance, that’s what I say”

I do respect your opinion on All Engines Go and Race for the Sodor Cup... as long as you respect mine... it's a pretty interesting thing for me, since the changes of the old and new series give me time to come up with ideas for my own Thomas and Friends universe and fan series.

@@agentnintendonate1thee2tan89 And to be fair, the only new reboot-exclusive characters I find interesting so far are Kana, Sandy and possibly Bruno (who I forgot to mention that he was a brakevan in the first place) because I think they have potential to appear in the original series in some shape or form.

I overlooked the goofs at first, until I saw them up close again... mostly the infamous "Look out for the train" bit.

"the show is for kids" said Mattel one day, later even kids hated it! Also "streamlining!"

And don't forget the other racing movie cars 1-3
