I'm honestly still processing that AEG is a REAL show that is an OFFICIAL Thomas and Friends show and that the Thomas I love so much is over. It's just way too different from the original show, and it makes you feel like you're on drugs or something. The animators didn't care either, you can see a lot of blatant errors.

It’s quite sad when people can create better Thomas stories then Mattel who has no clue how to handle railways!

You want to know something that I have not yet mentioned, if Sharon Miller returned as a voice director (specifically for the UK version since the show itself is produced entirely in North America), the voice acting from the kids would've been somewhat passable. Miller herself is good at voice directing and it's no surprise that she never returned to work on the series after more then 15 years.

That I could agree with. The child voice actors involved in this cartoon had potential and at least were trying thier best in what they've got, and they have done better in other modern-day Canadian kids' cartoons.

Remember, don’t blame the actual content creators behind any shows that is bad. Blame the company who owns the brand like Mattel. Andrew Brenner was the writer during the BWBA era, and don’t blame him, blame Mattel.

@@TrevortheTrainFan Wouldn't it had made more sense if they used Bruno the Caboose in either the BWBA movie while Thomas, Nia, and Ace were traveling across America, or were there gonna be more seasons/episodes of BWBA the series that take place in other countries like the USA where they were originally gonna introduce Bruno if the show wouldn't been cancelled? I definitely agree with you Mattel should resume the original show regardless of the failure.

Yeah. If it were made into a totally different show, that wasn't one about Thomas & Friends, the engines (In my opinion.) should be US styled locomotives, instead of British/UK styled locomotives. (I don't know why, but I just think it would be cool.)

Yeah, I agree with you. While I don't hate All Engines Go and found it as a guilty pleasure of mine, I think it would be better if it was an original Thomas-inspired cartoon than a Thomas reboot. Mighty Express (another Canadian train-related preschool cartoon) had a similar formant with railway unrealism, children voicing talking trains, and Americanized railway procederes, but at least it was an original production and not a Thomas reboot.

It's really strange to me how Nelvana has done Cgi before in many shows except for Thomas and it would've been so much if Nelvana animated in CGI I just hope the upcoming Thomas movie from Marc Forster will be good and doesn't end up flopping like the magic railroad.

@my Thomas Channel Well, to be fair, I can imagine Chris Pratt being a new narrator for the original series, if he can do plenty of different impressions.

I might have to agree about that if they go on protest against Mattel then it'll be worse and I might have to agree that nelvana Studios had done CGI animation before like Babar as well as Franklin and Friends which is a show that I remember on Nick junior in the 2010s that would be interesting to see Thomas to be animated by nelvana studios in CGI but no Alabama just had to listen to Mattel and make it two dimensional rather than three dimensional. And also about Martin Luther King jr I have known his history back in 2019 and also 2020 when I see a few skits from seeing Our Friend Martin in 1998 I will be looking forward to Marther Luther King jr. Day because it's the month of January. I remember Fanboy and Chum Chum and even seeing the theme song in 2016 on KZread but even then I never see the rest of the series and I might be slowly going out of it I guess.? And about the other new characters like Faraona and Frederico Jiff and riff From race for the Sodor cup they are okay characters in my opinion and also Ultra train and Trainiac they're alright characters and I can understand that in a certain video that you did looking through the comments saying that he is a recolor of Vinnie it does make sense and it might be a good idea if it was fictional characters in universe just like Reptar from Rugrats which is a show that I know and I have seen the Revival back in 2021 and I really enjoyed it because of its CGI animation. And I'm perfectly fine if you're just giving up on the show just watching the previous 24 seasons or just wait until Marc Forster will release a trailer for the upcoming film or even hyping for the new Wooden Railway format.

I wish that Percy, Gordon, Nia, and Diesel kept their old whistles and horn.

I got something cartoon to say about the merchandise it looks like knock-offs though if any were released a few years ago would have been in a knock-off store and probably Loki would probably put them in one of his knockoff videos

I am not going to talk about the reboot on Twitter again, but this show is complete mushy drivel from the corporative sellouts of Mattel. This is the same company that handles their franchises and previously owned brands poorly, gave adolescents non disclosure agreements, wrecked Brenner's direction in 2017 that attempted to cause him to quit and donated money to Autism Speaks (another organisation that is infamously hated) Listen folks, Mattel can make quality toys like Hot Wheels, Pixar toys (mostly the Cars ranges) and other film related merch... but their main excuse is a lie to everyone that they cared about the heritage and how they consider the current show under massive backlash, "it's for kids". I don't think you should treat children as if this caters to them, for the fact that the original series was aimed for preschoolers and over, but it had a substantial part of demographic. How does this require any attention? the problem is AEG Thomas is just a flanderized generic counterpart to the little steam loco hero, it throws the premise of the franchise out of the window, and there's nothing connected to the brand (just the names of the characters and Sodor) as if being machines and carriages cannot happen, as are areas like branch lines and other gauges are removed, it doesn't work like a railway... plus, these episodes ARE SO BAD...! nothing but rehashing, unoriginality, and all of them are rubbish! The voice direction for the children and younger viewers deserve better than wasting their time with this bullcrap... I can't, Mattel... you are running out of ideas and you as a business can burn.

I DID NOT LIKE ALL ENGINES GO . IT'S TRASH AND TERRIBLE.

I’m not a fan of the Thomas franchise but I absolutely agree with you. Plus, Mattel isn’t only ruining Thomas, but also Jurassic World (my favorite franchise) now with NFTS literally a few days after the release of Jurassic World: Dominion. They’re literally fucking up franchises now even though it may not really look like it. They used to just make normal toys for Jurassic World that I actually have and play with and I can’t believe they’re doing this now. Thus, All Engines Go is an absolute shithole that not even some kids like whose characters look like failed abortions from Satan himself. Mattel needs to listen to our hearts and bring everything back to normal so they can be trusted again.

This video is a good way to start the new intro(and yes I still hate All Engines Go so don’t think I said this is a good start sarcastically)

Trevor Davis in the cgi and the model original series henry was also a big brotherly figure to Percy

The thing that sucks the most about both BWBA and AEG, is Mattel's overall mindset behind them.

Like I said before I'll take Elmo's World: The Original Series any day over All Engines Go mainly because even though both shows are fast paced BUT Elmo's World gets the one up because at least we have the sections of the show to slow down the pacing like Kids & Baby, Video E-Mail, The Live Action Kid Films, the Tv Cartoons, and even Tickle Me Land. Also for the factor that the show is MORE MEMORABLE then AEG not only that it was because of my childhood but it was also memorable because of ironically enough the setting itself, with the whole canyon drawings coming to life and Mr Noodles' antics. Also Trevor I know that you use to hate Elmo in the past and while you have grown to like him after doing research on the character's history (in which I did the same thing as well), I think the reason that many people including you that use to hate him is because of his overexposure, sure the character himself does have his flaws like his voice being irritating and him speaking in the third person however I accepted those traits not the mention the fact THAT'S WHAT MADE HIM AN ICONIC CHARACTER alongside him having his hilarious moments of being unhinged (seriously Elmo was going viral on twitter this week because many people were talking about his hatred towards Rocco in a Season 35 Episode along with him being angry at Jimmy Fallon in his appearance on that show). However the lesson that we should learn from both All Engines Go and Elmo's Overexposure is because of the company decisions ESPECIALLY Sesame Workshop. Seriously if we can blame Mattel for all their stupid decisions over the years then there is NO EXCUSE to blame Sesame Workshop for their dumb decisions like not only overexposing Elmo but also stuff like NOT releasing anything from the Classic Days of Sesame Street like episodes and skits that are considered Lost Media. Come On Sesame Workshop get your ACT together.

The reason I didn’t like Elmo back then was because of that flawed Elmo Saves Christmas special. If you watch mrcool210’s review of it from years ago, you’ll see what I mean. But after doing more research on the Elmo character (including his humor in that Rocco episode), I started to appreciate him more. At the very least, he is better than Barney and Caillou combined!

TBH I never seen that special TBH and I don't think I ever will ever since I found that the entire plot of the special is that Elmo made a terrible mistake of having Christmas be forever which led to him getting in a very bad situation with his wish. the only thing that I only know about that special is with the It's a Wonderful Life scene with Ernie and Bert that clip is hilarious. Also I agree with you that at least he's better than Barney and Caillou combined in which now that I think of it. The former is owned by Mattel (since Barney and Thomas were owned by Hit and THEN Mattel) but Mattel focuses more Thomas than Barney, oh that is SO HILARIOUS. Also with Caillou now that you mention him, ever since I have seen James A Williams' review on Pingu (in which great reference to him BTW), Pingu is a much better show than Calliou, since at least Pingu gets some discipline from his parents unlike Caillou. Also I have seen a good amount of episodes from Pingu and the show is really good and some of the redubs that I have seen from the show are HILARIOUS.

You know what Mattel reminds me of? Mattel reminds me of Hasbro or the Neo-Saban era of Power Rangers where everything goes downhill with the series and the toys along with not listening to the fans and only caring about money. Hasbro is even worse because they don’t allow any negative opinions and you can’t disagree with them. I’d imagine that’s how Mattel would act. Honestly, these companies need a lesson about constructive criticism as well as listening to what the fans want.

Honestly at this point theres no point in making requests because Mattel has made it clear that they don’t give a shit on what we think, but im still on Boycotting Mattel

The only merch i'll be getting is 2nd hand Hornby 00 Thomas loco's, and rolling stock. Anything to do with Mattel? Forget it

@@TrevortheTrainFan I also do wish things went back to Nitrogen Studios. The animation here in the reboot is only average in my eyes. Nitrogen and Ark did better animation.

@@TankEngineMedia yeah. If there’s one more thing I hate about this reboot, it’s how it’s confusing how Nia was brought back but Rebecca wasn’t. Seriously what happened to Rebecca? At least we, in a way, had Molly in the show, but in a new form. Here, neither Molly or Rebecca came back. I don’t hate Mattel as a company but they should explain themselves.

@@TrevortheTrainFan I just don't like Mattel's excuse to replace Edward, Henry and Toby from the Steam Team in favor of Nia and Rebecca in an effort to bring gender ration among the main cast to a 50/50 split as well as trying to make T&F relevant by making it more similar to other preschool shows. I wouldn't be surprised if fans stormed Mattel's headquarters in a similar way to the January 6 United States Capitol attack, I also wouldn't be surprised if fans continue to harass Mattel nonstop.

i still think tugs should get a reboot in cgi or some shit but in the good way

Also speaking of that movie I thought Luisa was kind of like a gender bend of Henry as there both big and strong but also have very strong feelings I don’t know I just thought they had similar personalities

Good news no reboot Bachmann Thomas trains

I love the big world adventures series it is so fun and it is more inclusive than the older "Thomas and friends" because they added 2 new female train characters Nia and Rebecca, Wich I really love. And I REALLY hate the All engines go series they really could have made ANY other series than All engines go for season 25! the only people that would like all engines go would be 1-4 year olds because they don't know about the old series that is LITERALLY much much better!! All engines go REALLY is a piece of POOP!!
