In short, The whole thing is f’d up!

When I seen pictures of Harold from this show for the first time, I literally thought it was a new character. I will say however that the two things I like about the show is Gordon's voice actor because he's the same guy who voiced him in Magic Railroad and introducing Bruno.

Yeah fr I almost thought that was a New Character right there True about Gordon I like how they brought back Neil Crone to Voice Gordon, his Gordon voice slapped, not saying that Kerry Shale sucked, he did a great job a well Even tho AEG sucks there are like a few hidden gems in my opinion 1. How they brought back 2 voice actors from TATMR, both Neil Crone and Eddie Glen Neil Crone to voice Gordon Eddie Glen but to Voice Toby instead Oh and they also brought back Bulstrode to AEG, which was surprising to me and fans out there

100% agree, I just stick with the original 1984 series or go see the minions 2 movie, and pretend this never existed.

Actually 32/52 is a little more than halfway.

One thing I hate about this reboot is that they made Thomas and some of his friends little kids.i know they are young engines, BUT THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THIS YOUNG!

I prefer an OG version because of handful reasons: 1. For General Audience - young and old, even adults want this! 2. One person voice acting and narrating just like Ringo Starr did 3. The concepts does make more sense! 4. Dark stories on some episodes meets realism CGI on the other hand 1. Showcases variety of characters 2. It does look modern when it comes to graphic style without looking childish Mattel's version 1. It has become childish in a sense that lose it's context of the series! 2. It loses the audience demographics from the past version especially those of fans of the OG edition for how this reboot is done in a rubbish way!!

Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go is not Thomas. It is Thomas in name only. It has nothing to do with The Railway Series or the Thomas & Friends tv series. I really hope this show does not last long. Mattel is crapping on Thomas, the Awdry Family, Britt Allcroft, and The Railway Series. It makes me sad, that one of my childhood shows has been turned into this abomination. It does not deserve the Thomas name.

I hate All Engines Go. You should beat the absolute crap out of Mattel for ruining our childhood.

Plus, the original Thomas was a very calm show, making it popular with autistic people such as myself. All Engines Go is a rapid fire mess with pacing faster than the speed of sound, flat characters (including Kana, one that seems to be plagiarized from a fan OC), and most importantly .... It's very unrealistic.

You know what's hilarious? Even Rebecca became a very good characters... UNDER THE HANDS OF THE FANDOM! Cuz we care and know how to fix it! We have the Passion. Sth. Matell NEVER EVER will have!

I'm also a fan of the Unlucky Tug, Train Boy and those bunch who also hate the S25 era

Byfar the worst part about Edward being forgotten about is Gordon literally has the exact same personality he has. Edward honestly didn’t have much potential as a leading character in the original series, but absolutely great potential for a supporting character, which is what he was usually used as to great effect. Now ofc thats not to say they never told any good stories with him because they did but he definitely is easier to write as a supporting character who gives advice than the main character in a story, giving him less potential than the other main characters. Here however with the characters acting like children he has great potential yet they just completely forget about him for no reason as one of the other characters is assassinated to act like him. If they had replaced Gordon with Edward, they would still get rid of Gordon which would suck but atleast his character wouldn’t be assassinated like so many others and at-least 1 character would be the same one we all know and love. Also i haven’t seen the latter season’s but i hear they made Thomas the narrator in the later seasons. But why didn’t they make it Edward? Edward would have fit the narrator role perfectly as the wise old engine. It would also perfectly excuse him not being a major part of stories anymore as-well as allowing them to replace him with more “politically correct” characters while still not forgetting about or removing him. This way both the old and new fans would be happy. Unfortunately Henry would be forgotten about no matter what happened but they could have atleast saved Edward, yet they didnt.

Actually, Gordon in the American dub is voiced by the same guy for the same character from Magic Railroad.

Fun Fact: Thomas is actually one oldest working engines on the island of sodor and nia sounds like a male in the African dub

Well yeah, and While Thomas in the Railway Series and the classic era can be prone to being egotistical and big headed in some of the episodes he's in like in "Thomas, Percy and the Coal" and "The Great Discovery" (albeit a movie), he of course sometimes has a reason why he is egotistical. But here, his ego in the AEG series makes him unlikable just because the plot needs to happen.

I would say the one that had season 24 looks greater

The worst of all is that they added a freaking railroad crossing in this show but instead they stop trains and let other trains to pass. That is completely inaccurate for those crossing gates!!!!!! That is the one that I don’t like about All engines go but I am a bit neutral with this show. Just the crossing that I don’t like

Makes total sense. I also imagine that there are more kids watching the older Thomas episodes on Prime Video and KZread along with buying the DVDs than those who are tuning into the newer episodes on Netflix

Exist on Cartoon Network and Cartoonito (good it's not on HBO Max and only on Netflix and good thing it doesn't look like the pilot did) and why did reboot our beautiful and beloved tank engine into a 2D flash animation like My Little Pony, Jake and the Neverland Pirates (from Disney Junior), Bugs Bunny Builders (From Cartoonito), Johnny Test, Polly Pocket (another show from Mattel), Tom & Jerry etc with boring and poor type of animation from DHX Media with poor 2D visuals. Also yeah I agree with the personality part. Thomas is quite spoiled but he can also be a hero. Especially in the episodes The Real Number One and The Tiger Train also your half right with Thomas Takes off. Its actually Thomas Blasts off like you corrected but If you translate it in other dubs it is Thomas Takes off

I wonder if this reboot is becoming a failure like BWBA, I really hope it does become a failure, so much that Mattel should be forced to cancel it (though I doubt that it'll help bring back the original T&F, like what happened to the original Bob the Builder since the 2015 reboot got cancelled in 2018).

I never liked the new look of Thomas from the very beginning it has lost its appeal and what made Thomas special to begin with and after Mattel’s attitude towards the autistic community and blocking some of the original classic episodes is the finale straw. I hope someone else will take over the show and put it back to what it used to be someone who actually cares about Thomas and the people who grew up with it thanks for sharing this interesting video 👍❤️
