My Frightening Experience On The Gaza Border (

Gaza. Ever since the attacks on October 7th, this small strip of land has been the focus of the world's attention. As of the making of this video, the war between Israel and Hamas is still ongoing; around 1500 Israelis have perished, along with almost 20,000 Palestinians.
I decided to find my way to the largest border town with Gaza: Sderot. It was heavily attacked on October 7th and even occuped by Hamas for several days. Now it was a launchpad for IDF incursions into Gaza. I wanted to see who decided to stay, after everything that had happened..

he does not like to mention facts that contradicts the mainstream media, he is very careful with his words and he clearly will never ever dwell into the truth of the matter of what is actually going on. Here is a fact, Hamas released hostages and the hostages were hugging and thanking them for the humane treatment. Also he never mentioned that where Hamas attacked, the border was left unmaned for that day, strange eh ? Israel has the highest most sophisticated secure border in the world, they know when a cat passes by that border, you mean to tell me they didnt know Hamas was going to attack even after multiple warnings from Egypt ? Come on you all cant be this dumb right ??

The last 2 videos from Israel are some of the most fascinating I've seen on youtube, and now I'm watching you go to Sderot?!? It's such a tough place and situation for me to understand in the midwest US despite following events there for over 20 years (all my adult life). I was shocked by how hard Oct 7 hit me with no attachment to the region or its people and it's been constantly on my mind ever since - it didn't help that I found myself seeing things happen near real time on Telegram that day I guess. These glimpses into the region are so straightforward and real and "no B.S." - they're filling in my assumptions and spots filled in with imagination with actual real people and places. I've always thought "man if I was into travel and had any sort of language skills Israel would be near the top of my list" but I really doubt that will ever happen. So thanks for sharing the journey.

It’s not just being in prison 20 years, it’s being bombed in that prison, having food and water shut off , and being starved by the Israelis, while living in that prison. What kind of evil government does that? And these aren’t criminals. They were forced off their land by Israel and ended up in Gaza. The Zionist Apartheid Israel government put 2 million Palestinians in a prison. They can never get out, they can’t get a passport, they can’t ever see another country, like the rest of the world, they have no hope. They are born in a prison and they die in a prison. And if that was not enough…the prison has been bombed for the last 15 years. Israel calls it mowing the grass. To make sure the Palestinians know who is master and who is slave. And Israel will decide at certain times…that they aren’t going to send food , water, electricity and medical aid into Gaza…during that 20 years. Palestinians don’t know when everything will be shut off. They never know when food, water, electricity stops. So Palestinians die from starvation and lack of water. Thanks Tommy for your honest coverage of the regular people behind the war news. Everybody has a different "normal" and many adapt to their circumstances and their behaviour like feeding the cats in an evacuated city , or having dinner with missiles exploding nearby might look strange to those far away but this is how we hold on to our "normal", our "humanity", our sanity, our freedom, our refusal to let difficult times define our lives. The street cats are just that - street cats. It's like squirrels or sparrows in NYC - part of our city fauna. We feed them, give vet supervision and they take care of snakes and rodents and a few are friendly enough to pet. As to evacuating pets - especially dogs - some are with their families and others are being fostered by others because the evacuation facilities (mostly hotels and hostels ) can't house dogs - I am hosting a kibbutz dog. Hope many people see you vlog to get a real and unfiltered look at Israelis and Palestinians and see there is more fear and uncertainty than animosity and that in many places we do live and work together and experience each other as fellow "travelers" on this Earth like yourself.

Tomy, The cats you saw are street cats (theyre not abandoned). In Israel its illegal to put down the street cats. The state sterilizes and vaccinates them, and in every city there are people who feed them every day (like the lovely lady you met in the video). Israelis love cats (and animals in general. More than 5% of the population in Israel are vegan!). Im sure you saw many friendly cats in Tel Aviv. Oh and once again - great video, Youre the best. Thanks❤
