@@ArkhamMaster. Actually, I'm not a big fan of the Optimus Prime vs Godzilla matchup. You'd think that a matchup between 2 of my favourite fictional characters of all time would make me more hyped, but there is no rivalry between the two franchises to make it a legacy matchup and any connections the 2 fighters have are either hilariously subtle or non-existent. There is some nice aesthetic, interesting debate and some fight potential and seeing 2 of my favourite fictional characters ever duke it out would still be nice, but the only ways this matchup would legitimately intrigue me are these: -Favourite character battle royale -Death Battle winner battle royale -Shattered Glass Optimus Prime vs GMK Godzilla -G1 cartoon Optimus Prime vs Warrior Godzilla -G1 cartoon Optimus Prime vs Showagoji (with his portrayal in Godzilla vs Megalon) -Bayverse Optimus Prime vs Monsterverse Godzilla, and the last 3 matchups are not that interesting, while the first 2 are hype because of the amount of characters and my feelings towards them, not because of the connections between Optimus & Godzilla (plus, the chances of them happening are hilariously low). Optimus Prime should better fight Superman and Godzilla should better fight Hulk, Cthulu or Kong (Then again, do we really need more Godzilla vs Kong fights in the vs community?).

I'm not trying to sound rude or anything, but Luigi vs Tails 2 is by far my most despised rematch idea and in my top 5 least wanted match-ups. It's basically just Mario vs Sonic round 2 but worse and it'll just be out of spite. I can't stand doing rematches out of spite because it'll just give the other character a win just for the sake of their victory. That and as much as I want Luigi and Tails to return, doing a rematch is just completely wasted and it just ruins the chance of having these 2 return. This is another reason why I hate ideas like Goku vs Superman, and Archie Sonic vs Paper Mario. It'll be Superman winning the 3rd time, and it'll just be Mario vs Sonic 2 but with Sonic winning out of spite. I disagree with fights like Gaara vs Toph and Yang vs Tifa, but even I don't want those rematches because they're just out of spite. Just because an outcome is wrong, doesn't mean it should get a rematch. And to make matters worse, what's a good reason or iconic reason to have Luigi vs Tails 2 besides giving Luigi a win and updated analysis? Answer, nothing. The reason why we had rematches like Samus vs Boba Fett, Mario vs Sonic, Link vs Cloud, and Goku vs Superman because of these iconic reasons. Samus vs Boba Fett: Because it was the first ever Death Battle fight made. Mario vs Sonic: Because of the iconic legacy ever since the console wars in the 90's. Link vs Cloud: Being the first 3D Death Battle episode ever. Goku vs Superman: Being the most viewed episode and the first season finale episode ever. It was a big hit, tho it was mostly a sequel to the first Goku vs Superman. Those are reasons why they exist. Luigi vs Tails isn't one of them. Before you say anything like "If Mario vs Sonic is a legacy, so is Luigi vs Tails", which is really a lame excuse because that would be like saying Shadow vs Wario is a legacy, Amy vs Peach is a legacy,and so on. Just because Mario vs Sonic is a legacy, doesn't mean Luigi vs Tails is a legacy as well. It's like wanting Frieza vs Zodd because of Goku vs Superman, even tho it's not even that big of a legacy as well, nor is it unique. I'm sorry if I sounded offensive, but Luigi vs Tails 2 is an idea I just can't stand and it just feels forced just because of Mario vs Sonic 2. I just want Luigi and Tails to fight other opponents and not fight eachother again. If I want Luigi vs Tails, I'll watch Luis Animation and One Minute Melee instead.

@@MarioandSonicsupergamer Yeah, I think I agree with you. Luigi vs Tails is not nearly as big as Goku vs Supes, Mario vs Sonic, and Link vs Cloud to justify. I also agree that Yang vs Tifa and Gaara vs Toph were wrong but all those characters have other options that can be explored as do Luigi and Tails probably. Honestly the only rematch left that I may be down for is probably Chief vs Doomguy just because I think it would make a cool 3D fight.

If I had to pick 2 Death Battles my first would be a sprite based episode with Tatsumi (Akame Ka Kill) vs Issei (High School DxD) and Giorno (JoJos Bizzare Adventure) vs Joker (Persona 5), but I’d like to also see Kira (Jojo again) vs Adachi (Persona 4) those are some of if not my favorite match-ups I hope happen someday

My most wanted matches change basically daily at this point. I think me doing a most wanted matches video was inherently a bad idea since it’d be outdated before production even finished, and if I was to redo it in a comment it’d be outdated within a few days. If I was to guess I’d say only 10 or so of the matches in that video are ones still at the top of my most wanted list.

6:35 i see the connections though i would personally like Joker ( Persona 5) vs Valvatorez ( Disgaea 4) Two leaders of rebelliios groups who went down the path they stride on because of One Decision ( Joker he helping out a lady being harassed but sued but soon forming the Phantom thieves and Valvatorez Failed to complete the promise to scare artina cause Artina died before he can do so causing him to be strict on promise ( and in the future would form to be the hades party ) ) They both have also gained allies and friends along the way Both have a history with the rulers of there worlds ( Joker being sued by shido and Valvatorez in his prime fought on par with King death hugo the netherworld president) Both also have beaten Gods of the worlds and reality warpers( yaldabaoth and Maruki for joker and Fear the great and God itself for Valvatorez) The soundtrack will be quite excellent with both disgaea and persona have Really good soundtracks, Some Epic orchestras for the disgaea part and insert some motifs from persona 5 then were set! Also the fight would be a fun banter with valvatorez and joker compliment each other at first and soon in the fight valvatorez sense joker's resolve to beat him and compliments him for his resolve and at the end of the fight both parties at there limit as joker has summoned satanael and Valvatorez activates his tyrant form just by there clash alone can easily shatter everything surrounding them as they fight. Either way be the winner but damn it would be a fun but motivational matchup for my tastes Either it can either be a sprite fight or 2D ( I can't imagine valvatorez in 3D but it can be done right hopefully)

My most wanted is Doomsday Vs SCP 682. •It's got good connections. •Has a decent amount of potential for choreography and creativity. •It's destructive but not to much that it looses impact. •It introduces a new(and one of my favourite)series that I haven't seen much in versus •And while it's another DC herald, DC has fought less alternate franchises than Marvel, and it's a fight were there's a very good chance DC looses. Also. 24:49. Don't feel bad for Otters. The only good in them is that they're cute and are decent mother's but I'm not sure if that makes up for what they do.

@@gabrielneri2820 Calling SCP completely fan made clearly doesn't release the series has official lincesed stuff such as the books. Yes fans do sumbit ideas that later get improved but fan made have being turned into official lincesed characters before a pretty good example is Biollante from the Godzilla franchise. Plus if it was completely fanfiction the creators would have no way to defend the SCP Foundation from someone trying to own the franchise.

One series I'd love to see get introduced to Death Battle would be Sly Cooper. Sly Cooper is a series from my childhood that my late grandpa used to let us play when we visited him and even as an adult I still find the series fun so would just love to see it get some love. I have at least 4 and a half matchups from this series, you'll see why I say half. Bentley vs Joe Swanson (Family Guy): Part of this is due to both characters being wheelchair bound but besides that similarity, they're practically the complete opposite. Joe is a muscular and aggressive cop while Bentley is a nerdy, nervous thief. Joe is kind of a meat head while Bentley is super intelligent, Joe has severe anger issues while Bentley finds it hard to even get aggressive on his own so they contrast one another in a lot of interesting ways. It'd essentially be cops and robbers on wheels. One thing I like about this is the idea of Bentley having to be strategic and stay away from Joe due to Joe being much stronger, a better fighter and having guns so he'd be hiding and taking cover while letting his gadgets deal with Joe. I also imagine Bentley would quickly realize that Joe has anger issues and play on that, using his Grapple Cam to mock Joe to make him flip out since he does shit talk enemies in the third game so it gives the writers plenty of potential to right funny dialog for Bentley to say. I see Bentley winning this but I could see it being a difficult fight, I imagine the ending would be similar to Joker vs Sweet Tooth where Joe has Bentley dead to rights but Bentley manages to talk him into giving him a fair fight by playing to his ego, like I imagine an enraged Joe tackling Bentley and beating him senseless but before he kills him, Bentley convinces him to have a fist fight since surely Joe would rather end it that way then just gunning him down when defensless but Bentley already put a bomb on Joe's wheelchair so as soon as Joe crawls back to it to fight Bentley one on one he blows it up and kills Joe. Just sounds like a cool ending and I think both characters would be interesting to animate. Panda King vs Shen (Kung-Fu Panda): These two are more similar than the last fight but I like how different their backgrounds are. Panda King was a peasant trying to sell his fireworks to nobles but was shunned due to being a peasant which turned him hostile and aggressive, meanwhile Shen was a noble and wanted to use fireworks for their destructive capabilities but was shunned by his family as a result. Both ended up using fireworks for deadly and destructive weaponry and brought terror China. I also like this idea a lot because Shen was destined to fall to a warrior of black and white, as in, a panda which canonically was Po but I like the idea of a panda from another series coming to fight him instead, its just funny and cool how this matchup would play into that prophecy. I am not sure who'd win here, I am not sure how fast Shen is and Panda King doesn't have any notable speed feats so unless you scale him to Sly Cooper (which would make him faster than sound) I can't really say how fast he is. Panda King would certainly have more destructive potential with his fireworks and fire blasts, his fireworks were able to harm a giant kraken in the third game and his fireblast can destroy stone statues with ease so that would be deadly and he can augment his physical attacks with fire and he is at least proficient in martial arts but I see Shen being the better fighter as he could actually stand up to Kung-Fu masters and he has sharp edged weapons so this seems like a long range vs short range fight, Panda King would be better at keeping Shen at a distance to launch fireworks at him while Shen needs to get up close to impale him or cut him to ribbons. I am fine with either winning, I do like the idea of Panda King winning just due to the fact that yet another Panda was responsible for defeating Shen, like I imagine the Soothsayer being like "You...weren't the one who was suppose to defeat him..you're a panda but not THE Panda". XD Murray vs Po: This used to be one of my most wanted fights, the idea of it just sounded so cool and given their personalities, they'd bounce off each other really well. If they ever met, I could see them getting along great but the banter during battle would work well too. Sadly, Po vs Iron Fist made me feel like this is a stomp, I used to think they were pretty close, Po being the better fighter and faster but Murray being stronger and more durable and having time freezing so he could counter a faster opponent but now seeing how strong Po apparently is, I feel this battle would be a stomp. Its not that I don't like the idea of Po winning, I like Murray more but have nothing against Po but I hate the idea of stomps. I want it to be fair enough that there is at least a fight and since Po is faster than lightning and planet level...I don't see what Murray could do to him. I guess this could make for a good DBX, Po would still win since he's more popular but at least that isn't researched so its just a fun fight for them. Sly Cooper/Carmelita Fox vs Cat Woman: I have had difficulty thinking of an opponent for Sly. The contrast between Joe and Bentley made that fight fun and the similarities between Murray and Po made that sound really cool to me as well but for the leader of this trio...I really can't think of much. I used to think Ezio was a good fight and he and Sly have a lot of similarities but given how tame Ezio seems to be from my perspective, that seems like a stomp in Sly's favor. I do like the idea of him fighting Cat Woman as both are thieves who have a complicated romantic relationship with a person who fights crime (and both ended up ruining their relationship with said crime fighter..) so Sly vs Selina sounds cool but I also like the idea of Carmelita vs Selina as both are the love interest of the main characters (Sly and Batman) who exist on opposite sides of the law but still regularly find themselves working together and eventually forming a real romantic relationship with each other that then gets ruined by shit writing. Plus this has the same cops and robbers theme as Bentley vs Joe so I can't really decide which Sly character would be better suited for this, or if it'd even be a good fight.

Joker vs Ness sounds great and it does spare us from the absolute hellhole shitshow results that would come from joker vs youknowwho Would love that to happen

since you had a genshin death battle here are a few genshin death battle ideas I had Raiden (Mortal Kombat)vs Raiden Shogun: thunder gods. They could also do a cool moment where Raiden kills the raiden shogon only to be pulled into the plane of Euthymia and fight the real shogun Tartaglia vs Emiya(fate): bow users who also duel wield swords Diluc vs Batman: both are the dark-knight hero of their worlds, both watched their parents die, have a rivalry with their polar opposite(batman to superman and diluc to Kaeya) Signora vs Todoroki(My Hero Academia): both have fire and ice powers, have a tragic backstory, Another one I saw on the internet was Morax vs Gilgamesh(fate) but the video also showed that the lord of geo was pretty much outmatched in just about everything if anyone else has any other ideas leave a comment below

One of the few I know about and like is Hu Tao vs Hisako from Killer Instinct. Spiritual staff wielders, one of which is a ghost that returned from beyond the grave, and the other runs a funeral parlour with a strong dislike for those who cheat death. They’re both very aggressive in their fighting styles as well, so I could see something interesting being done with it.

If i got to pick 2 deathbattle episodes i'd pick sean matsuda vs miles morales as a sprite battle, and bob from animal crossing vs garfield as a hand drawn or 3d fight. Sean vs miles would look absolutely gorgeous, combining the stylized look of spider-verse with the 90s edge of street fighter 3. And i feel like the two would have some decent banter as well. It would start as a friendly training match, but slowly escelate to one of them killing the other out of unbridled desire to impress their mentor. As for who wins, miles has the upper hand in strategy while sean has the upper hand in pure fighting skill.

And now for bob vs garfield. The connection is they're cats who love food and are incredibly dumb, but still make some really smart jokes on a regular basis. I feel like this would HAVE to be hand drawn or 3d to express how goofy and whimsical these characters and the fight itself is. Have them use the environment to the advantage, using tools and furniture as weapons, and fill it with 4th wall breaking gags and references to previous death battles. The climax could be on top of a dodo airlines plane. The killing blow if bob wins could be garfield falling off the plane and landing on an island, but surviving due to toon force. Then bob tries to fly off into the sunset to have snacks, but crashes the plane into garfield, killing him. If garfield wins, the killing blow could be him falling through the roof of an empty house and dying. Then someone sells his corpse on nookazon, which garfield buys and displays on his own island. And the winner, no matter who it is, HAS to say no one's around to help. Also boomstick could make a joke about his dad being in boxes and it would be so funny that i would shit AND cum.

I'd make a video like this but all my friends aren't in the vs community.

The Penance Stare probably wouldn’t work on Spawn since one of his villains (Urizen) was able to do basically the same thing and he tanked it just fine. It would be a fun fight, but Spawn is way too powerful for Zerathos.

I think Raoh should fight Yujiro Hanma from Baki the Grappler. It's a classic like Fist of the North that's had a recently popular reboot; the villain has a strong, though negative, familial relation to the main character. He also has a type of rivalry with his son like how Raoh does with his brother, Kenshiro, and Yujiro has some incredibly ridiculous feats that puts him beyond most of his universe, like stomping so hard it nullified an Earthquake.

Not Really, Finn travelled to Mars from Earth via a teleporter and Jake went into his origin home planet from a portal. Finn flew there via technology, but Mordecai & Rigby did fly in space thanks to the powers by The God of Basketball.

I wanna see Incineroar vs Armor King, Lucina vs Grovyle and Levi vs Kurapika so bad.

I hope joker vs ness gets more popular cause it has more potential than giorno vs joker or frisk vs ness

If honestly, I think Eikichi Onizuka will be a much better opponent for Korosensei. Both are teachers (and, arguably, best anime teachers) with bad past who became better person, both take care of a class full of worst students and helps them to became better, both totally simping for any girl and at the same time respect them, both can do some really outhuman things, both are trollish and funny. It just will be a very fun battle. And it's not a stomp, Onizuka is slower and have less experience, but also stronger and survive much more damage.

Whatever happens, I'm hoping for some Fate and Madoka match-ups to come someday.

I think Fate is a bit tricky to put on Death Battle, what with all the inconsistent scaling across all the routes. Then again, my top five most wanted matchups has a Fate matchup in there so I don't have room to talk.

@@esteban8471 I understand it's a bit tricky, but I still want to see Fate happen especially for the animation potential. Tho to be fair, Marvel and DC power-scaling can confuse me at times as well. Some of my favorite Fate ideas are Rin vs Lucy, Robin, or Jolyne Kujo Archer Emiya vs Hakumen or Copen Gilgamesh vs Altair or Hao Rider Iskandar vs Wamuu Rider Medusa vs Boa Hancock or Medusa Gorgon Lancer vs Bulat Jack the Ripper vs Seth Sakura Matou vs Filia, Venom, or Edelgard Tamamo no Mae vs Ran Yakumo Caster Medea vs Maleficent or Tharja and so on. Tho to be fair, I'm not just requesting these match-ups for Death Battle. I'm wanting these in other vs shows as well.

@@MarioandSonicsupergamer My top Fate matchup is Mordred vs Euden (Fate vs Dragalia Lost). Both are homunculi created via magic and another ingredient (Artoria's seed and Morsayati's flesh) due to selfish reasons (Morgan wanting some way to rule Camelot and Aurelius not wanting to lose his son). Both are the child to the king (Artoria and Aurelius respectively) of their respective homes (Camelot and Alberia) and are both connected to dragons in some way (Mordred being a clone of Artoria who has a dragon heart and Euden forming pacts with dragons). Both also have severe family issues (Mordred being rejected by Artoria and Euden's siblings fighting against him for a variety of reasons) and both start a rebellion due to seeing what they believe to be an injustice (Mordred rebelling due to Artoria rejecting her and Euden rebelling against Morsayati, an ancient evil who possessed his father and later sister, and plans to rule the world). This is currently my fourth most wanted matchup of all time. I really like it due to the animation potential due to Euden's dragon forms and the banter between the two would also be something very unique. Literally my only problem with it is that Euden kinda AP stomps but Death Battle has done good stomp matchups before so I'm not really that bothered by it.

For the love of God just put a fire emblem character on death battle already
