Great job on the two-tone. You say it may not win any awards but building and painting it is an award unto itself.

Great job indeed. You can also use mod podge gloss for windows. Pledge floor gloss is great for the windows and the whole body too gives a great shine

Turned out sweet Mike, I use Micro Kristal Klear by Microscale, it's a white glue similar to Elmer's but dries faster, no more glue on glass issues, :) Tom

The distributor is on the wrong side. It's supposed to be in the front of the air cleaner. That why you had a problem putting on the body. Nice build though 👌👍

Great job,Mike.Question....did you wait for the paint to dry before you took the tape off ?

Do not let your paint dry before you pull off the tape.Pull the tape off right away, or as soon as possible. This should cut down on some of your tape problems.By letting the paint dry first and then pulling tape, the paint is now dry and there's more of a chance of lifting off paint. Also, always paint your light color, first. It's easier to cover a light color than it is a dark one.You must be reading my mind.I've been wanting to do a brown/tan paint job.Next truck. Great work.👍

  • @toddmiller86

I ain't trying to nitpick you brother but it's a Ford in your distributor should be in the front of the motor that's Words Factory made that would have helped you with your wiring problem
