Nice intro to the Kodiak and also to the Propstrike airports!

Excellent sim video Brad. I am looking at buying the X-plane 11 Kodiak. I was concerned the scenery would kill the experience. With the Addams you used clearly not the case. The accurate realism in the sim vs the map from Sky Vector makes sim flights like this possible. A great flight sim experience that all of us in the community can try. I hope to see more from you. BTW I have watched all the videos from Ryan, in Papau New Guinea, bush flying the Kodiak. They are all beautiful.

Why thank you. I hope that someday X-Plane has the satellite imagery of FS2020, but not holding my breath. I have done some flights in Papau NG and hope to do a video of some of those challenging strips. When I was in high school I thought about flying with MAF -- but life happened.

The avionics switch isn't thrown until later as the engine instruments will be on the primary display. The starter could throw sparks to the fine avionics instruments but I don't think the fault will be simulated. Otherwise a nice intro to the Kodiak.
