Don't forget that the driver's education in Germany is structured completely differently than in the US. Here there are special driving instructors. A theoretical part with over 1000 questions to learn. Highway driving is part of the training. In addition, there is a minimum amount of driving hours with the driving instrutor in order to be admitted to practical test.

We went to Bremen to pick up her car from the ship. So I went on the Autobahn with her on the passenger seat and slammed the gaspaddle to the pan. She was screaming when the speedometer went over 150 km/h. Took us twice as long to get back to Mannheim the next day. Because she wanted to drive her american Ford Escort. @francoforte4788
Strecken ohne Speedlimit sind vom Verlauf her sehr gut einsehbar.

On the autobahn, one thing you probably didn't experience, even in a powerful Audi, is being on the left-hand lane, overtaking trucks, is seeing in the rearview mirror flashing lights coming from afar - a black Porsche speeding up to you and you trying to find a slot between trucks !!!
Bro er ist ja 24/7 am lachen 😂
really enjoy your vids :D nice to see that you met Julien
You had some fun, man 🤩
It‘s so great to see you being so excited
Even for people who grew up in Germany it is hard to get used to high speeds when they drive on the Autobahn for the first time. I remember that I was very nervous and had sweaty hands when my driving instructor said "Take the onramp to the Autobahn over there." and I knew that this was a section without a limit. After about 2-3 training hours and entering/exiting the Autobahn roughly 20 times I felt way less nervous and nowadays driving my Tesla Model 3 way north of 200 km/h is just everyday routine. We Germans might be thinking that foreigners overreact a bit when it comes to being nervous on the Autobahn, but if we think twice, we almost all were nervous driving on the Autobahn ourselves for the first time. Of course most Germans don't remember the first time driving on the Autobahn in the passenger seat as a baby, but I guess you were as nervous as a German driver driving there for the first time.
I love it
