I feel quite the same about tattoos, the fear probably also equally from perfectionism but also just stigmatising it and being rigid about who ‘ I think I am’. Maybe one day I’ll get one too, and it will be a special reminder for me also 😇

Favourite Isaac quote: "Why cut it when it can just be?" Some YT and life wisdom right there. . . . . Dude, I literally cried watching this video. The storytelling, the cinematic sequences, the one coming through the van door and the boy running with the towel. Really great music selection too.You have been such an inspiration to me over the years and I guess this one really hit me for two reasons. One, I've finally started to go all-in on YT, with less than 100 subs hahaha, brilliant, I know. And two, I've always wanted to get a tattoo and I know exactly what it is I want for the first one but I've been waiting for the perfect moment and place. Maybe this year I will get tired of waiting. Above everything else, I just wanted to say thank you. Keep going man, so many more stories to tell and I look forward to seeing more of what you got from the helicopter tour.

Fear of permanence was always what kept me from getting tattoos… but then I slowly started to realize that nothing is permanent so if I like it today, then that’s all that matters. I can worry about tomorrow when(/if) it comes

Same! I tattoo my body to document my life journey as we’ll all be dust someday. Even if I end up not liking a tattoo later on - it’s just part of the journey & reminder of where I was at that point in life :)

Afraid of permanence - As a nomad and fellow perfectionist I relate so much! It took me years and years to commit to my first tattoo. Congrats on going for it, not because of the tattoo, but because I know the struggle too well. 👏

hahaha, that's great J to see that you did that. I wanted a tattoo for the last 3-4 years and after a life-changing experience, walking in nature for 31 days and being inspired by nature. I just went for it and I got actually 2 tattoos and since then I don't regret any of this.

Congrats on your first tattoo!! I was 15 when I got my first tattoo and even though it didn't turn out perfectly, it's the memory and who I was with that makes it perfect. I've thought about getting it touched up to make it look better, but this confirms for me that I would regret it afterwards. This video also made me realise that as a teen, I was more intrepid than I am now despite having more knowledge and wisdom. I've wanted more tattoos since my last one at 18yo, but have always been a little unsure despite being quite decisive and forthright. It's not just about tattoos though, my whole life needs changing. Your videos are so awesome because they're not perfect - real -, which inadvertently makes them perfect. So, you can't go wrong, because there is no wrong or right, there is only what is and what is, is perfect👌🏽. Thank you🤗🌌. Edit: I really wish that Eddie keeps that free spiritedness his whole life. I've always wanted a tattoo but i was scared of regret as well besides I'm a doctor so i was scared that having a tattoo is gonna affect my work in a bad way . My brother and the person i love the most in the world passed away due to cancer 9 months ago so i honored him with a tattoo on my left wrist cuz i know I'm not gonna regret it . My opinion, you have to really WANT them for it to be worth investing in… also always go traditional and make sure your artist is fucking good. That’s really it. Also if you’re just doing it to “say you have a tattoo” or you “crossed it off the bucket list” its rather pointless and makes you just seem like a poser lmao
