I’m here to help mate !!! And yes they can drain your battery but only if you leave it plugged into an “INVERTER” overnight for hrs with multiple items, it’s coming from the trucks batteries that can take a good hit but ideally you don’t wanna have 4/5 high powered devices for long periods of time. A laptop is not high powered your be fine!!

Always an interesting comparison when office workers staying away will have a costs budget from accounts of around £200.00+ to cover hotel, meals and away woak compensation benefits. Yet, HGV do it for same as 25 years ago with disease ridden 'facilities' often uncleaned and then sleep in a tin box! Says more about what types do HGV work at rates of pay far below what all others get? Little wonder so many HGV drivers have lost families and homes while chasing ultra-low pay and staying away when all partners and kiddies need is, time with them at home! But hey, maybe drivers who do away work and repeatedly lose relationships are just they selfish types who won't man up to caring for family at home?

Low rates of pay get into the real world I worked in a warehouse for years just to pay the bills now minimum pay doesn't cover the bills I have put myself through HGV licence so I can provide for my family Happy you eren alot more than me but from a large % of parents struggling Don't show off and don't look down on people that just want to pay their way
