    When the Foxes "call" it's the Vixen saying "I'm here boys come and get me," she then gives them the runaround until she chooses the fittest. The bird, was a Pheasant, couldn't tell if it was male or female, but the male is the colourful one.

    Cracking vid pal, give your lift axle a lift when manoeuvring and you’ll find you have a load more traction as it’s not trying to drag the axle, (also saves on tyre wear). Fair play to the sentiments you made 👍🏼

    My dad is hgv class1 for over 30 years. He absolutely loves it. I actually asked him what age as he thinking of retiring... he simply said he isn't and he'll keep going. He did his first night out back in the late 80's a little different back then 😂. But yeah he's a tramper and loves it.

    Hi Mate, I am a new fan, I have enjoyed your video's by myself for a few week's but now I pop around to my daughter's, get her three boys come back and now I can play your video's with the grand kids here, they think you are the best,(and so do I) It is good to sit with them, and I don't have to worry about any bad language,we just love your video's. So I will close for now, keep up the good clean fun, and I am pleased to have subscribed. all the best, and keep safe from George, and the three grand kids, Matt,Jack,& Bradley, in Western Australia.

    Everyone loves quick and easy food when you are doing long hours and then park up knackered after a 15 hour day but try your best to eat fairly clean as it catches up on you. I just ate shite tramping then started with massive stomach pains and ulcers in my stomach and several trips to hospital. Plenty of bread, ham and pickles etc for sandwiches etc and tinned stews if you want a reasonably healthy quick meal and just as convenient as pot noodles.

    Nice video. Tramping is good once you get into a routine. The sleeping gets better the more tired you get. 😆 The best advice for reversing is always try and point your trailer where you want it to go before you start going backwards. Good luck!

    The best way to start reversing is not to go straight into what you do on test. Best way is to get a yard with a painted line on it or a join in the concrete, then reverse in a straight line. It teaches which way to turn the wheel using small corrections, then work up to tighter manoeuvres. I passed my artic test 14 years ago at 21 and still make an arse of it at times. Hope you find some work soon to tide you over. 👍🏼

    Great vid lad. My tramping tip for food and not for everyone. I make 4 of the same meals at home on a sunday stu, currys, lasagne etc and put in microwave tubs, most of your calls will let you use thier tea rooms to heat up if you've not got microwave in cab. for lunch an add water bassed meal ( mug shots) and coco pops for b fast and tons of fruit to snack on. Friday is belly buster day Keeper safe lad

    How can moving top soil around be classed as “ Tramping” I used to do Tramping with my dad in the 70s and in my recollection it means setting out on a delivery say Northwest / London no sleeper cab no night heater but then the tramping begins you go to a phone box with a copy of Headlight magazine and phone around for a return load but you may get one but end up in Southampton then a phone call hoping for a run back home but end up in Watford,so nights in the cab ( Cab hotel) tramping around picking up loads .You had a little book of bed and breakfast and some of these were just terrace houses and you parked up in the street . Good video dude but your not off to Iran yet 👍

    Dennis Robinson Spot on Dennis I took my class one 27 years ago but have never used it ( just had to do it) My Dad worked for BRS out of Bolton so Guy ,Scammell, AEC, ect was the norm .If you had say injector issues whilst away you would limp into a depot and they would get you back running . Used to park on a big lorry park on a roundabout in Aldgate ? London or a big former type cafe called Burts in Southampton. A bit hazy now as it would be 50 years ago . How about ( watch your wagon mista) 50p or sheets slashed .

    A couple of things, Get yourself on to Amazon and buy yourself some reusable fast food containers, Then batch cook curry, stews, hotpots etc and freeze. Uncle bens or the cheaper option microwaveable rice reheats in a pan nicely with a drop of water. Likewise, ask if they would fit a microwave if you're tramping all week as it just makes life slightly easier. Oats so simple does well in a saucepan too. That blindside reverse at the start, Could you not have spun it round right-handed and then reversed into the bay?? Not sure if you would have the room though. Always think about what's easier for you. Above all don't eat too much crap food. I have a thing for grapes at the moment lol.

    Hi mate. Been thinking about getting in to trucking for years now and think this year I may just go for it. Wondering if you could explain how the money side of tramping works, if you wouldn't mind, as literally everywhere i've looked doesn't explain it at all. How are you paid? Is it flat rate per week/month, depends on your driving time, X hours per day and are you paid through the night while resting? Also, what are the shifts like, is it week on week off? Cheers.

  • @Deady2012

    @Deady2012

    Depends where u work mate. Some pay hourly rate ie Keedwells pay £10 per hour for the work you do. I’m salary upto 50 hours per week anything over is overtime. Nights out are £25 per night tax free. Expenses ie parking up for the night, you pay but get the money back at the end of the week. So, if you work 50 hours a week and have 4 nights out and you’re on £10 per hour, you’ll get paid £500 minus tax & insurance plus £100 for nights out. If you’re salary you get your salary wage call it £500 plus overtime call it £100 plus nights out money. Shift patterns are Mon-Fri every week.

    @@Deady2012 Thanks mate that's very clear. Do you tramp every week? £10 per hour is hard to believe considering us home shopping guys are now on over £9 per hour just zipping around in our little vans all day. I'd say the HGV industry is overdue a pay rise!

  • @Trav-the-trucker

    A chap at BP told me if you use the car pump and it clicks off at about £100 you dont need to pay then go back and carry on fuelling just replace the nozzle and put it straight back In your tank and repeat until you are full then when you pay it all gets totalled on one bill. 👍
