I was there last night, top of East stand and the view was amazing!! Pictures and videos make it look so much further away than it is to the naked eye. Few minor finishe's and it will be an incredible stadium. Great video mate : )

Just watched your vidlog Hugh. Glad you eventually found your tickets. Nice work. Not a hammers fan (Stoke City FC), but always been my favourite London club. The stadium looks very impressive as you would expect and the atmosphere came across O K. I hope all you hammers fans quickly settle in and give the Emirates a good run for their money. All the best for the coming season in your new stadium. EDIT: Just thought, you're gonna need a much bigger bubble blowing machine for the big kick off.

Upton Park had a very special atmosphere . but this is a different world , the seating is more comfortable - although you are further from the pitch but its definitely the way forward for the club if they want to eventually go to the next level.

Nice prediction at the start mate! Spot on.

I was there at the east stand lower standing up and what an atmosphere and the Olympic stadium is just like barcelonas and greatest game ever to kick start our new stadium and what a match I probably lost my voice by the end of it and all the fans outside was chaos

Thanks for the taking the time making this video and uploading it - long time Hammers supporter and past season ticket holder in the upper West Stand, and I must admit a sceptic of the move, and even after seeing all of the vids, including yours, I am not convinced by the gaps between the tiers and the distance from the pitch, and surely the atmosphere can never come close to the Boleyn Ground. I will however, reserve judgement until I visit to the stadium myself. BTW, Jonie is a little cutie.

I was not too sure about the spelling either! When I was a season ticket holder (my last season was the Avram Grant season; say no more!), having moved out of London (Canning Town born and bred), in the early eighties, every time I went to a home game it felt like I was coming back to family, and that is what West Ham was (is?), a family club. Anyway, I don't subscribe to any old You Tube blogger, so keep up the good work! ;-)

Cheers mate, it's the first one I've got correct since 0-0 v Man U in December.

after watching all your preview vlogs you think you no what to expect but it blew me away walking in and seeing the size of the place so much space in and around the stadium defiantly on a different level to the poorly lit dodgy dark alleyways of our old home.once there's some decent away support in there it will build the atmosphere even more

Which Band are these seats mate....I'm guessing 3?I used to be West Side Upper Band 1 at the Boleyn...equivalent at the OS was over 3 grand.(become Boleyn Bar!)..so now band 1 East Stand at OS Row 48 Block 236,the view is just awful.Due to the massive curve halfway line seats are miles back..how they could charge that at Band 1 prices is such a pi*s take.Great vid by the way.

Band 4 mate £499. They will have to move me for sell-out cup games though as the opposition take 15% of the allocation

Too much distance between the front seats and touchline just takes the fun away from a proper football stadium, good stadium though, a definite step up from Upton Park.

They are only empty for this game Brad as the attendance was lower due to health & safety. Full capacity for Prem games.
