A lot of negative stuff gets said about the stadium, some of it deservedly so, but one things for sure, it is a beautiful stadium.

gate crasher - I went to it and watched football at the Olympics. The atmosphere was fine, but even then they had to have vibrating seats forcing the fans into a Mexican wave. It's not entirely a lost cause, but they certainly did a terrible job of adapting it for West Ham in the Premier League

The stadium lacks atmosphere. The walk to and from the ground I dread. It will never be Upton Park.

It's time we move on from Upton park now. It's never coming back and yes I know it's the biggest mistake we've ever made but you can't deny that it's a beautiful stadium. Just a shame it's not fit for football

The thing is if it weren't built for the Olympics and just for west ham then everyone would like it. It's beautiful modern stadium but it's no pie and mash is it. We need that fucking grubby east end of London streets on Saturday. Prawper football stadium Upton Park was. Because they mainly in working class areas. The old school ones. Anfield. Maine road. Blues ground. Upton Park. Villa park. Derby County. Millwall. Football is for the rough areas. And these billionaires are coming and enterprising it

I know you can't go back to Upton Park, but you've lost a lot of heritage, identity , you've been turned into a full franchise, I know loads of premier league clubs are becoming franchises but West Ham are so different now, I visited the ground once for an away game, and it really was shocking, looks nice but really not a football ground, hope you do something about it, even if it's just moving the fans closer to the pitch and changing the colour of them white seats. From a Crystal Palace supporter

You make alot of good points that the stadium does often lack atmosphere.But it needs a really big game to bting it to life and/or team playing well.I've been to UP and LS(a few times) and i prefer LS.Its more spacious,cleaner and smarter design.I've also sat all distances away in stands and not had a problem.Not all supporters hate new stadium but just don't want to be publicly talked down by detractors.Its a personal thing and as you've been your opinion is very worthwhile.

You should have stayed at The Boleyn, I knew you couldn't BUT, you've lost a real lot since ala character, passion you left. More life in a car park than at that stadium (MUFC).
