game is so deep bro, this is scratching the surface of what’s possible. I was in your pos. when I started, now 250 hours in I get crazy god runs with hundreds of millions of health every 2-3 runs. This game gives you the tools on every run, it’s just not possible to see them at first. Which is kinda beautiful Here’s an example, that polymorphine potion you used to turn yourself into a frog can be used to ESCAPE THE HOLY MOUNTAIN without collapsing it, enabling you to freely enter and leave and edit your wands as you please, strip spells from wands, etc. Why? Because frogs and other enemies don’t trigger the HM collapse. So become one. This game is all about paradigm shifts. Defy the gods. Don’t play linearly. Loop back, explore the world on the surface and even under that, tunnel through the earth, clear every level and shuttle every wand back to the HM that has a useful spell or good stats, increasing your power with each pass. 10/10 game.

ill also point out that this game has a discord which contains geniuses who will teach you esoteric knowledge and push the boundaries of what’s possible, like 2 second speed runs via wandcrafting, long distance parallel world warping wands, etc. big recc

Yeah, the only thing I can recommend for new tech is backing up when an enemy is directly in your face.

for me it took like 60hrs to get the w, though during that time I managed to get to end screen a few times and die right before credits roll
