@@camolambox2525 yeah mate because Porto and Bayern have the exact same playing styles. Porto played very well at countering and laying back, which is the only way teams have managed to flatten us this season. Bayern don’t play like that, especially not at home.

I’ve had this same feeling about Dortmund, though I’ve only watched a few of your games. All these games have teams that are so similar in how well they’re playing but Atleti vs Dortmund looks like the most even matched fight. I’m so glad we didn’t get them because as good as they are they play the most annoying anti-football, but it works really well so you can’t knock them for it. I hope you beat them though

Arsenal is just a better team atm, Bayern is no winning the Bundesliga and their manager is getting sacked. Arsenal might win the prem and get far in the UCL

Statistically speaking, playing the second leg at home is a huge advantage. The numbers tell us this and it makes logical sense. Not only do you get extra time at home with no away goals, you also know how hard to push in your home leg. If you are at home first, perhaps you go 2-0 up and play solid to seal the 2-0 lead. Imagine that’s what Liverpool did if they were at home first vs Barcelona in that famous semi final. Instead, they were at home second and pushed on until they scored 4 and won. With that being said, Arsenal playing at home first could be good for them to settle some nerves because they’ve not been in a CL quarter final with this squad. This is especially true given that Bayern will have no away fans for the first leg. They also deal very well killing a game once they have a lead. The problem for Arsenal seems to be getting the lead in the first place. As for the Kane factor, yes he scores lots of goals vs Arsenal but he doesn’t get the results and has never won at the emirates.

Plus there’s more competition than you think. The big teams are often favored but often don’t come on top unlike in the ucl.

You might scoff at this but don’t underestimate how much City have turned the Etihad into a fortress. Bar a group stage match vs Lyon in late 2018, City haven’t lost a competitive UCL game at home since Liverpool in April 2018 (and that was a scandal), and having potentially two home second legs once again this season maybe what takes them to the final again, despite some definite frailties compared to last season’s perfection. But honestly I don’t know how to call any of these ties, what a set of games!

I think Barcelona has now cemented themselves as a revived team, ever since cubarsi has let Xavi to comfortably put Christensen at cdm, Barca has been on a tear and other reasons as well. Barcelona always had the foundation to perform this season but wasn’t able to find their ground until now, it’s very 50/50 against psg.

Hey James! As an Arsenal I’m actually quite excited to play Bayern. They’ll have no away fans for the first leg and it comes back around to obviously the last time we played each other. I feel it’s one of the better ties we could have gotten but nothing is a guarantee we still have to preform extremely well to progress and then face an even bigger challenge with real or city

Atletico aren’t the defensive force they used to be. They play more expansively and take more risks, they are very prone to counter attacks. Savic Witsel lack pace and Hermoso can be shaky. That being said I think they should progress

Let's not forget Vini, Bellingham, Camavina, Tchouameni are all to a yellow off suspension. I am 100% at least 2-3 of them being booked. Vini for being such a crybaby, Camavinga his energy is great but he is too reckless sometimes. Of course Jude and Tchoua are so vulnerable in midfield against foden, kdb, bernardo and they might a book as well.

@@Negan2003everyone thought they were among the worst in 21/22 and they ended up winning. I’m pretty sure every tie Real Madrid had in the knockout stages, they were expected to crash out. Against each of PSG, Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool, Real Madrid weren’t expected to win. From that point on, I’ve got more faith in them than if they were the favourites to progress ie. vs Ajax 2019.

It's funny cause I went into this expecting you to have a very different prediction to mine but the only difference was that I had Bayern beating Arsenal and PSG beating Real Madrid in the final. I've been following this PSG side closely and I think their squad is very underrated and Luis Enrique's ability to coach and get the best out of attacking sides is incredible and I feel like Mbappe's last dance at PSG is written and he can make the difference against anyone. The tie I have most doubt about that being the case is the first one against Barca who I had going deeper in the tournament as they are starting to find themselves and at the best can be really tough as they have the perfect mix of youth star power and experience, but I'm sticking to my gut feeling Mbappe goes all the way.

With Bayern having no away fans in the 1st leg, Arsenal already have said that the stadium will be filled up with only Arsenal fans and I think that is the difference for me. I think Jude Bellingham will be the player of the Tournament and eventually go to the Euros Finals and win the Ballon D’Or.

This year Man City have good players in the midfield, but a lot of those players are more direct attacking midfielders like KDB and Bernardo Silva, but other than Rodri not many players are controlling and playing winning the ball. On the other hand Real Madrid have a different problem where they have a gap in the CF role. I think though they’ve been able to temporarily deal with that giving Bellingham the freedom to move up the pitch. Also both of them have defensive issues. Real Madrid are very makeshift and we’ve seen that let up in the first half of many games, the Valencia one is a great example. Meanwhile Man Cities defense has for some reason really fallen off.

City will beat Madrid handily, can’t believe the hesitancy around Arsenal after binning City who have the second leg at the Etihad. They may not win the Prem but they’ll go all the way in UCL

The idea of a PSG Real Madrid final is so so exciting god

I think Barca at full strength beat PSG … but having De Jong, Pedri, and Gavi injured SEVERELY hinders the midfield, which Barca needs to dominate for their possession style of play

As a PSG fan I can totally see us losing another final, heartbreaking. But I can also see Zaire-Emery and Mbappe shining in the Champions League once more to have a magical final season for the best player in the world. Only time can tell but this is the most confident I've been in my club since we faced Bayern in Lisbon 4 years ago.

Man City barely beat dortmund at the Etihad last year because they couldn’t contain Jude Bellingham. it took a wonder goal from Stones and Haaland (to actually involve himself in the game for once) to come away with a result. Bellingham & this madrid team are completely different. over 2 legs it’s anyone’s game. I don’t believe Madrid will suffer against City like they did last season.

Love the vid but ur gonna mention Madrid players like Vini and Bellingham being dangerous, they’ll still not gonna be able to stop the midfield of kdb stones rodri and Bernardo, they are all too good on the ball and smart enough to play keep away, we’ve seen that Valverde, Modric and Kroos can’t and saw Bernardo have his way with Camavinga so unless Tchuameni becomes the best player itw (if he starts) I think it’s a similar story plus foden can drop deeper and help more driving forward and idk if Carvajal can stop doku, foden or Grelish

Funnily enough I think all the draws are as even as can be. 1st seed vs 2nd, 3rd v 4th, 5th v 6th and 7th v 8th (roughly)

This is exactly what I predicted as well. The same draw. I factored in away games, home games, etc. The only thing that I will say about City vs Real Madrid, is that Madrid have their top players one yellow card away from missing the away match at the Etihad. Even still, I think what happened last year, as we’ve seen in La Liga, when even Modric and Kroos played together, Madrid get overran. However, if they’re paired with either Camaving, Tchouameni, or Valverde, then they stop that City attack there and are able to punish city as they progress forward with their style of football. City’s style of football is amazing but for this current Real Madrid squad, Madrid can and will hurt Manchester City and I think that the game at the Etihad will be the Vinicius Jr and Rodrigo show. I have to say though - what a bunch of juicy teams. Also, the Barca vs PSG game can be tight but depending on how Xavi plays his game, I think Mbappé and Dembele become Barca’s nightmare because of Barca’s fullbacks pushing up too forward. I think that will be their undoing but Barca’s midfield will run PSG. It’s just the outside and if they play with a 3 at the back, Luis Enrique will place diagonal balls to Mbappe on the LW and none of the Barca players will be able to stop him. So yeah. Real Madrid vs PSG. Wow. How lucky are we?

We don't have the fear for Bayern. We have a squad that can hurt them and exploit their defensive weakness, they play a very high line and we have the pace to exploit those gaps left behind. A good game at the emirate and we are good.

As a fan I was hoping we would draw them because they are a big enough game for people to not say oh you only beat this team its not that deep, and I believe that this group of players that we have are different.

Love the video but I feel like you got the Arsenal/bayern and city/madrid matchups wrong. Arsenal players don’t have experience playing in the big games on European champions league nights. And to play at Bayern, they will simply crumble. Especially with the league race being so close, they will blink a little during the matchups I think. City/madrid whoever hosts the second leg is the team who wins the previous two times. The etihad stadium will be the breakthrough for city yet again for me.

I don't know how can anyone think that Real can beat City...Ancelotti has no clue how to beat Pep's teams. City brutally dominated them in the last 4 games real was extremely lucky twice..Ancelotti can't do shit against team with high orgarnized pressure even Leipzig was better than madrid last two games..

As an arsen fan aslong as the boys give 100% on the pitch, I'll be satisfied with arsenal champions league performance and then we can focus on the league while Liverpool and city compete in their Europe competitions

That would be possible. Bayern Munich also had Harry Kane, so it will be a battle for the European Golden Boot winner. However, France and England couldn't met in the Euro Final. Based on the draw results, they will most likely play each other in the semifinal, assuming they were the winners of respective groups (unless Denmark or Netherlands upset the group predictions, which forced France or England to only finish 2nd).

As as arsenal fan, I don’t any of these guys lost the 5-1 game to them. I think it’ll come down to if we can stay calm not let the occasion get to us and play how we want, like we did at Porto

I love how everyone is sleeping on dortmund. I know, I think every single youtube prediction I've watched has Atletico going through even tough it's the only game that doesn't really have a favourite. Eliminating an Inter side that was more focused on the league on penalties shouldn't be such an important factor for this game.

People seem to forget how good Thomas Tuchel is in knockout football, he made back to back finals a few years ago and a lot of these Bayern players know what it’s like to win at this stage, no Arsenal players has been here before bar the two ex city players
