As a fan of smoky, peaty whiskies, I very much enjoy the offerings of Talisker (from the Isle of Skye), especially Talisker Skye & Talisker Port Ruighe. I've never been able to choose which of these single malts is my favourite, so that's exactly what I've set out to do.

I’m adding these to my list of to-dos. I’ve only had Cutty Sark so far in my short life.

Well, Cutty Sark is a blended whisky, so these are worlds above that one! I hope you enjoy them, but be warned on the peaty/smokiness!

I’m the same with sinuses… I’ve started to like peaty…. Lagavulin 16 will blow your socks off… love to see what you think… not the cheapest.. a little north of those two you have.. but very very peaty 👍🏻

Ooohh... interesting! I've had Lagavulin on several occasions, but never the 16. OK, deal, I'll try that out at some point. Won't be for a wee while, though. As, like you said, it's not a cheap bottle! Thank you for the recommendation.
