Anxious People, American Dirt, the Red Tent, Secret Daughter, and On Writing are my top 5 of 2020 💜
So happy to dive into the Discworld books this year. They are timeless! Did you see the trailer for the new BBC series "the Watch"? Definitely intriguing with the different aesthetic. Also enjoyed both Stuart Turton books for two original takes on the mystery genre.

I did watch the Trailer, but I have been avoiding it until I am finished with The City Watch books. I didn't like the look of the characters compared to the ones I have created inside my head (isn't that always the case though) so I knew it would have to wait.
I loved The Song of Achilles as well, but Circe just barely won out for the spot in my favourites. And I’m so excited to hear that The Devil and the Dark Water is good - I love the 7 1/2 Deaths and I’m so excited to read it!

Ahh yes I'm Thinking of Ending Things was definitely something else! Also Anxious People. If it wasn't read in the same year as Ove it definitely would have been top 3!
HATED my dark Vanessa too! Just so gross!
