@@trolling-networkThis time, AMD is not matching up to Nvidia, meaning the new Nvidia 50xx seires card are going to be SUPER expansive, they can be in $1000's As of AMD 9000 series CPU, the latest report are saying that they are not any better then 7800x3d nor the 7950x3d, so leave that as well. If you wanna build a pc with the current parts, 2500$ might not be enough for max out parts, but you can still get 4080super, 7800x3d, 64gb ram, 2tb ssd and other stuff for around 2500-2700$ Edit: if you wanna get a USED pc you can prob get a 4090 beast of a PC for as low as 3000$ on the used market [ well thats for my country and prices atleast]

SSD he already had and the 2060 was 100 dollars but if you sell the RX550 it'll negate some of that, so it's still 200 dollars but a more accurate title would be "200+ dollar PC " But people don't click on titles like that as much, simple and engaging title is best. Just marketing

I have the exact same PC but in black color it's a HP Victus 15L desktop and it has a pair of i5-12400F and RTX 3060(12 GB VRam GDDR6). 16 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz Gen 4 512 GB NVme ssd and a window 11. It's a really very powerful machine.

Zach i want to build a sleeper in an acer aspire(a 2009 model) case i had left over from building my grandpa a new pc and then disassembling his old one, the problem is that the case is very thin, so a normal gpu wont fit. I found a thin gpu(a 4060) on pcpp, but the pictures showed it with a normal pci slot brackets, do you think it comes with a slim bracket as well?

That's great, videos like these are the reason why your channel is great, the decoration is also decent, you could've made look like the Noctua case if you kept the PC black, but other than that, your videos are great, hopefully you'll make a video about sleeper builds with decent specs, I've seen many cases from the 2010s that look great, especially old workstation cases like the ones from Fujitsu since I'm also considering used cases made by them on EBay and they sell for €20-40.

May I ask how you powered the RTX 2060? Something like a SATA to 8-pin? I have a very similar HP Pavillion desktop and it doesn't have a GPU power connector. I'm thinking of installing a GPU but seeing as there is no dedicated GPU power connector I'm wondering if it's just best to get a PCI powered GPU like the 1650 super.

I would but my budget is $150 max, and where I live the A2000 goes for a lot more, so there aren't many options. Perhaps doing a 2060 sata-to-8pin, with the GPU undervolted and maybe even underclocked (to limit max power consumption) would work. I don't run the most intensive programs or games.

Hey Zach, I had bought that mint green build you did a few months ago. The GPU in it lasted like 4 months lol. I know you got it from Ali-Express and there's no warranty on these monthly builds (I managed to scrape together enough for an RX 5700 on Ebay. Which hopefully works), I just wanted to give you an update regarding that 1660 Super. Was definitely sketchy lol. It ran great, until it didn't. Now it crashes on Lethal Company, I get a checkerboard pattern with Fallout New Vegas, and even Oblivion crashes with it. It seems to me that the GPU itself is fine, it's the VRAM that seems to mess up because I ran FurMark for 20 minutes with no issues. But then I get weird artifacts and OBS doesn't even open. Anybody know of anything I can do with the old 1660 Super? I can't bring myself to sell it given that it's not entirely functional. Still super grateful for the budget builds, I wouldn't have been able to get into PC gaming or play these older titles I love without it. I'll also add that I have CUDA installed, so my graphics card isn't just doing display tasks. I basically installed CUDA within the first week of having it, and have even run LLMs on it without any trouble, even today. It's just when there are complicated visual tasks like running games, even KZread, that I get crashes - but for some reason FurMark ran fine

Hi Zach, hope you get to see this. I've been following your videos for sometime now and I'm looking to set up a simple budget gaming PC for 1080P gaming. I'm from Nigeria so ordering PC parts overseas is going to be more than a struggle (internal country problems and what not). However I've settled for for getting an OEM desktop and to get a graphics card that I can try to sort out from the local marker here. If you upgrade the GPU your monitor still will not have the potential to produce 1440p so you can buy monitor first and then the GPU upgrade

I'd probably recommend to start with the case, that's what I'm doing right now, next is the PSU, then motherboard, cpu, etc...

I have currently Ryzen 3200g with rtx 2060 super (8gb). With 16gb ddr4 ram and a320 motherboard with 650W psu. I am thinking of buying a new cpu of 5000 series but not sure which one as cpu is bottlenecking the GPU very much. Please give me a recommendation for which ryzen 5000 should I buy bcoz I will buy a new motherboard in future too.

Can anyone help me understand something? I’ve been asking a couple of friends about builds and they keep telling me to spend 900-1000 minimum and that most games now need a 40 series card for updates(not sure what that means). Are these budget videos for 600-750 not worth it for newer games? (I’ve been a console gamer my whole life so sorry if this sounds dumb)
