Man only 18? He's one of the best pure guitar players around. What a sound!

Once in a generation type of player. The emotion in his music is effortless and can’t be taught. Kingfish is a REAL deal blues player. ❤️

It's good to see a black kid with a guitar. If it wasn't for black kids with guitars all them years ago, music just wouldn't be the same today. Coming from England it seems like everyone in the US wants to be a rapper. I love hip hop but I also love the soul and rhythm black American communities put into guitar. Same goes for singers. This kid has both and its refreshing to hear.

SMASHBOXING there's both technical and soulful aspects to music. This dudes very soulful, which isn't really something you can practice, like you can practice to be good technically. It's like comparing an auctioneer (being LisaX) , to Nina Simone (being Kingfish or Jimi Hendrix).

Had a gigantic fucking grin on my face the entire video, this man plays guitar beautifully, thanks nikki for showing his playing and interviewing him.

So polite and down to earth. Hard not to respect a man who honors his music like that. I really hope this guy makes it to the top next to the likes of B.B. King and SRV.

This young man is fantastic. 18, graduated high school, and he's on his way to a music career. I could tell Nikki was happy to have him on the show as well.

This guy is just taking in everything music has to offer, putting it all into his blender, and making liquid gold.

He started at 11 with drums and bass, so he had some musical background before he picked up guitar. But when you consider the musical prodigies that come from classical music he's considered a late bloomer. You're just impressed because of your own abilities?

I love playing the blues and I am so glad there are guys like Kingfish who are the same age doing this stuff.

I have a lot respect for Nikki Sixx for having this kid on his show. This is how you give back to music by giving talented young musicians a voice. This kid is awesome. You can tell music is his passion because you can hear it in his interviews and how he plays.

Kingfish is someone I keep seeing videos of on facebook. I haven't delved deep into his stuff but he's excellent! and so humble, he comes off really well here.

This is my new favorite musician. I love the beginning with Nikki just eyes peeled with a huge smile as he’s riffing. There are times when the boy is strumming and you just can’t look away, he pours everything into it and it is just beautiful. Keep it up, Kingfish, you’re an inspiration!

I feel like this guy is special, stumbled upon a vid of a live performance doing hey joe, and was blown away. He just has that x factor, it all seems so effortless, not just a musician, but a singer aswell, the whole package.

Sort of like the young black kids giving kudos to Kanye West for giving some old guy a moment in the spotlight. (The old dude was Sir Paul McCartney...) In all fairness though, none of know ANYTHING until we do.
