Great Video! Thank you! 🩷 Here’s a tip…. Museum putty, put it on the bottom of your drawer dividers to keep them in place. Easy to remove and use again. I also connect acrylic organizers together using it. No more sliding containers.

Is there a particular brand of museum putty that you use? Can it be used to hang things on the wall without damage? Thanks so much! 😊

@@ThankfulNanaDiane I don’t think it will hold anything with weight. Maybe a poster. They use it after hanging pictures to keep them straight on the wall so they don’t move. There’s not a specific brand. I got mine on Amazon. I use it for hanging lite items like ribbon on my cabinet doors at Christmas as well as gingerbread men made from craft foam. Only light items. Also I use it on the bottom of decor on shelves so they don’t knock over if bumped or there’s an earthquake. There’s putty and wax. I use both but like the putty better. I hope this helps.

I actually do use museum putty in my drawers, just haven't gotten around to all the bins yet!
My cricut is crucial for organizing…that’s where I print my labels. I also use gutters from Home Depot or Lowe’s for ribbon storage.

Those gutters are a good find!
I really like Dollar Tree clear, plastic shoe boxes with lids. These stack nicely on shelves. Although I have two label makers, I much prefer using Dollar Tree "Adhesive Lable Holder with blank inserts". They come 18 to a pack. Several years ago I would pick up a couple packs each time I hit Dollar Tree so I've built up a good size collection. The labels can easily be replaced and the clear holders stick well to the shoe boxes, notebooks, etc. Clear plastic containers for berries are useful to keep smaller items in the shoe boxes. The lids to these berry containers also "lock" to keep the items in. I've also used the large clear plastic containers that salad greens come in to store ribbons and twine.

Thank you for sharing! I like my carts, but what has been part of my space for over 40 years is home made storage, I have an altered box for pens that I made in the mid '80s, still holds pens. 😁

Wonderful!
Oddly enough, one of my favorite organization things is a bean can on my desk. I'm a scrapbooker primarily and when I'm at a crop, that little bean can keeps all my most used tools right in front of me so they don't get lost in my mess.

Love it! Totally works for keeping the necessary tools within hands reach.
I have 2 carts one for my Big Shot and all my embossing folders and the other I use next to my work table with some of my stamps, stencils, my misty , dies, 6x4 paper packs and I love them because they are so helpful and can be moved if needed. And yes I love my brother label maker!!

Great info and tips. I use clear plastic shoe boxes that open like drawers. I keep my embellishments, washi tape, embossing powders, etc in them. They are so convenient because they are see-through and easy to open. I also have an antique wooden set of drawers that was once a set of drawers for holding pastels.

I love drawers. I have several roll around carts with drawers. Now the 7 drawer cart, put it on a dolly I got from Harbor Freight. It has my DMC floss. My big fabrics are in the long 3 drawer roll around cart. Replaced the casters with a big dolly from Harbor Freight. Also hubby made me a cabinet to hold other carts and drawer things. It is also on dollies. As to thrift store finds, an old bread box holds sewing machine accessories. A revolving spice rack for pins, needles and very small things. My bead storage is an old wooden shoe holder cut in thirds. Two of them are the sides of the custom cabinet. Also milk crates are great for yarn.

Love your video. I’m very much like you in that I need to see my creative items. Kind of like - out of sight, out of mind. I love your vertical space idea, especially the way you have your washi tape displayed. What holders did you use? They are exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Great video! What type of hardware are you using to hang your stencils? Those bars and hooks look really sturdy. I was using curtain rods attached to the wall for awhile, but they weren’t strong enough for the weight of the stencils.
@ScrappyWife
Жыл бұрын
All of that was purchased from IKEA! I think the key is to use wall anchors to make sure that it can take the weight.
My number one organizer are those clear project/kit/collection organizers which I hate seeing vanishing from all suppliers. I‘m talking about those things that are like a 12“ by 12“ paper sleeve but have 3 additional pockets for corresponding stickers and embellishments. I store most of my stash in collections and kits and if I use regular 12“ by 12“ pockets all the heavy stickers and embellishments slide to the bottom of the pocket making access harder and requiring more real estate on my shelves. Cropper hopper used to have them and totally Tiffany, but I haven’t been able to get them lately. Any hints?

Those sound very functional! I haven't seen any with the extra pockets attached...
Great organizational ideas! I've just moved into a new space and am slowly organizing the way I want. Could you please link the nail polish shelves on Amazon that you used for ribbon? Most are not deep enough to hold ribbon and do not have a plastic end on each side to keep rolls of ribbon from falling off to the floor. Thank you!❤
