Wow the temple looked incredible! I know the feeling of being hot and bothered and feeling burnt out from that. I love how you still push on though because I know the passion and energy you have to show us all that you're exploring. There wont ever be a video in my eyes the people wont enjoy. Well, I’m glad you uploaded it! It was definitely entertaining. And yes, the frustration comes from the fact that you’re tired and hot...it looks humid to me too. I would’ve been angry if I had been put in the situation the people at the “I am confused” café too. So, give yourself a break! I think that the staff not having much to do, gave them have too much free time to play with you the way cats do with their prays before they eat them 😂🤣😂 XO

Hi Paddy, the biggest mistake I made whilst travelling is when I was tired. You do not know at the time how tired you are. More so, whilst travelling alone. Take a brake, and start again. You can catch up with editing, Have a day or two off. The way things are now, You have no deadline. I would guess company is what you need. Some of the most exciting and interested places I have experienced have been on my own, and I do regret being unable to share it with friends

It was fun to watch you deal with the frustration of life's up's and downs in such a characterful manner and then it occurred to me that you hadn't visited Satun province. I only visited briefly on a day trip whilst on Langkawi but returned to Thailand the following year when I did a much smaller tour than you have started. Keep up the warts and all style, it's who you are and who we are as humans!

Hi Paddy. I have yet to watch THIS vlog BUT I just want to say that your students must be missing you as IF you teach as well as you put a vlog together , then you must be an amazing teacher. I was taken back by the interesting “theme” of your previous vlog. The conflict in that area in the 70,s. I want to learn more now about that. Thank you for bringing that historical situation to my attention. Gosh, life is SO interesting. I am 52 but finding life soooo fascinating STILL. Anyway, I envy your shared adventure on this year of discovery. If you are now in full lockdown then this too is a period in history before our very eyes. Your human! We all hit a wall or burnout day but I actually enjoy seeing those videos as well . Not to see you suffer but to see that not everything is perfect when your out there and that reminds me that I'm not the only one that experiences a day like that. You deserve a cheeseburger and a beer and couple days to yourself to unwind and regroup. Thanks for sharing and hope you get much deserved break.

I feel you in this video. This is how I feel like every 4th/5th day when I travel but good old FOMO.... Resting is essential and most of us just push through until they end up like you in the vid and then we feel the need to justify why we take a rest day, even if we only travel for ourselves and don't vlog. And yes, even if you're in an exciting/beautiful city sometimes everything I want to do is eating crisps and other snacks in bed and watch TV and yes, even at the most ecxiting destinations.

Very authentic! You have been working nonstop for several weeks and are only human. Most of us get hot and bothered on the road especially in the heat. It is something easily taken care of with a burger and beer followed by a good night’s sleep. It is important to capture the many moods of travel. This was still enjoyable to watch although the rat was a little freaky. You are doing an amazing job.

Have some proper down time... the heat in May ...travelling alone to new places ... creating content ... its taxing stuff! Be kind to yourself and understand you need a break. Come back refreshed & inspired! I do like your honesty & rawness :) & love your vlogs!

I love Google maps in Thailand. Always an adventure. I remember one time driving from Kanchanaburi to Ratchaburi, she had me go down a dirt road that was not all that much better than your trail. Difference being, I was in a rental car, not an old motor scooter. Following the directions got me where I was going, but not with the greatest of ease.

WOW! You went to hometown again! Honestly I've never tried that cable car, I hope it's worth trying :).

Google took me to the wrong mountain in Chiang Mai on my way to Doi Inthanon because there was a detour. It was one of the scariest experiences I have ever had. It wanted me to cross dirt roads with a shallow river, and there was nobody there. Even the road itself was filled with leaves like almost nobody used this road. There was no cell service and my phone battery was like 15% left. I decided to go back to where I came from and looked for the main road.

I was last in Hat Yai around 1984, things have change just a little..

In this episode Mrs. R and I learned about Tuk-Tuk exhaust blowtorching décor techniques. That bell with a bug 🐞 is to test people's Buddhist beliefs. If you hit the beetle 🐞 the bell rings and you have to make merit, maybe. The décor is VIP rock'n'roll (imagine a school trip there 😱).... Marvellous 😳🌞😎😄

Stay safe in the South, Paddy. Maybe a few days away from YT creation whilst in Hat Yai maybe good medicine. Even more now curfew restrictions are being applied. Couple of suggestions: Maybe time to do another live stream to fill the void. And maybe put together "Paddy Uncut" vlogs covering some of the stuff which you dropped from the final cut.

When I was doing bike touring, I used to rest for 2 days after 5 days of riding

Ahh Paddy having a paddy 😔.. I feel ya pain.. Extreme heat = don't do a bloody thing other than sleep it off 😴

Everyone gets into a funky place and I need some good chocolate to help me out of it. Next time I will try a burger and a beer.

You take an easy young man you are doing great so far don't get frustrated with yourself Take a little at the time You're okay.

Happens to all of us, a cheese burger 🍔 and a couple of beers 🍻 will cured that any day. Cheers!
