Social media has been used to catch murderers and thieves. Yet, a stalker like Beauty Queen over here is constantly given a slap on the wrist because at least they’re not physically harming their victims. Those troubling posts are usually a build up to the big finale. You know, the part where victims are physically harmed.

YES! It’s time for stalking laws to change. You don’t need to physically hurt someone to inflict irreversible lifelong trauma and abuse. Mental and emotional trauma can be just as bad or even worse, and should be taken just as seriously. It’s absolutely disgusting that nothing can be done until someone ends up dead. Our current laws only protect the stalker and the stalker’s supposed “rights”, and completely throw the rights of the victim out the window. There is no justice for victims in our current “justice” system.

@@BhappyD i agree, yet I can also understand the need for proof. I do however, that that getting the IP adress from her tweets should be more than enough proof that she is harassing and stalking this family. Like, I get it's HARDER to collect online proof, but it's not IMPOSSIBLE. I had a stalking experience (no where near this, and I solved it by blocking stalker and became private on Instagram) but still, I shouldn't have to make my Instagram account private because this kid is harassing me. (Call him kid and he was older than me...) Anyway, as I said, the laws need to change, and juridical system need to realize that as the world becomes digital, so does the criminals.

This is a woman who has NEVER been told "no" and doesn't know how to cope with it. This behavior is extremely unstable. The fact that she has frightened extended family like OPs mother is so awful. The fact that OP is scared for their children is also sad.

OP's kids are also old enough to shoot hoops in the front yard so I guess that'd make them atleast 6? I also read the first time they charged her was like 2015?? This story really is insane

Stalking an ex like this seems like a really immature thing to do, I was thinking it is kind of how a mean girl would behave in school/college, which is why I was expecting her to be much younger.

Idk it's kinda weird but her saying she has nothing to lose makes me think she's past the age of marriage etc, just a weird thought

I'm surprised that she liked him enough to stick around. If I had been seeing a guy for a couple months, and he had previously dated someone who was this crazy, and I realized that she wasn't going away, I would have been like, I like you babe, but I'm out. Like there's literally no need to have this much stress in your life. It's like dating people with racist families, they are not going away, do you want to deal with that negative energy for the rest of your relationship.

Yeah props to her for staying with him through thick and thin. Although in this situation it's kind of different with a racist family cause that's only the two of you against an entire family of people the husband loves (or I mean is family with). This is one woman who is terrorizing a whole family so I guess it's all her family and friends against this one girl. I'd say they're still waiting for the ideal, that instead of them changing and caving in, they want her to be the one to change to get out of their lives

@@FluffishPuppy Oh I totally agree, I just think they would both be dealbreakers for me. The commonality between them was that they are both extremely long term stressful situations that you experience as a direct result of being in the relationship and as soon as you end the relationship the stress and harassment goes away. That's why I would have done a runner in month three. Fair play to his wife though for sticking it out though. She's been dealing with this for five years.

I ended a 6-year relationship with a man which caused something in him to thoroughly snap. He physically and cyber stalked me (would park on my street and watch my house, I could hear him rustling around the bushes outside my bedroom and even caught him looking in my windows at night)…. He followed me around town and would pop up in restaurants and stores, he was so obsessed that he got his equally unhinged sister to help keep an eye on me… I won’t even get started on the endless harassment via text messages and social media day and day out, where simply blocking someone isn’t enough, Bc he would harass my friends, family and co-workers. I had to change my number, move, alert the security at my work that he was dangerous and finally filed a DV / restraining order. In all this went on for 4 years… it’s been about 7 now and I promise you the emotional damage he inflicted upon me from his actions is permanent. I will never stop looking over my shoulder, I will never stop feeling like someone is constantly watching my every move, I will never feel fully unobserved and safe in my own home. Stalkers are fucking trash, they rob you of your freedom, privacy, security, trust, I could go on and on. I won’t try to compare being stalked by a stranger to my experience, Bc being stalked is never an acceptable or undamaging experience. For it to have done to me by someone I shared my life with for 6 years, someone whom I had loved wholly and whom supposedly loved me back, well it’s a complete mindfuck of epic proportions.

My high school teacher actually had a stalker. He opened a letter at his desk during lunch, pulled out a chunk of hair. Me: absolutely bewildered at him receiving a lock of hair goes “what..” and he just stares“It’s hair…. I have to call the cops again” and it broke my heart. Apparently an ex student was stalking him, sent him letters and tried to contact his family.

It sounds like they need some security cameras and maybe even some tile trackers for every family member just to be safe. It’s so scary to live in such fear like OP and their family is.

They personally need to change their phone numbers, move to a different city/state/country and block all contact. This is so unnatural for anyone to do this unless they’re clinically insane.

That's why you need specific laws to these kind of cases. In my country we have a law for this that gives to the stalker from 6 monts to 2 years in prison (and even more if it involves kids)

Why be scared of Banshees and spirits clinging to you when you should be afraid of people like this

Absolutely. Horror movies about demons and monsters don't really get to me at night, it's the true stories of serial killers and stalkers like this... oof.

My ex step dad stalked us to the point that we had to move multiple times. When we went to pretrial for other things he did, the first thing his lawyer tried to get us to do was narrow down our address or location. Sadly, the next step is often a tragedy that officials claim “no one saw it coming”.

I've been stalked before, stalkers will go to whatever lengths they want and most Don't get arrested or caught in my case my stalkers got arrested after 3 years of stalking me and threatening me and hurting me.

Ew… She seems to have NEVER been told “no”. I have no idea what I would even do if I were on the receiving end of that situation, I just know that it’d take everything in me to stay on the legal route, ESPECIALLY with kids involved. That’s so fucking crazy.

Film you and your husband putting a curse on her and post it to your account. Hire a private investigator to watch her 24/7 for a year. Get ring on your door and video cameras around the house. Live in a condo that you need a key to get into with cameras. Get a housekeeper to come to your house when you're away. Put your kids in self defense classes. And every time this woman sends you anything privately record all the messages and post them on your accounts and tag her in them asking her stop and tagging the local police department as well. Get giant dogs for your house. Move to a gated community. Post yourselves at the local gun range. Make posts about going to places a day late to send her wild goose chases. She already hates you for ruining her life. She feeds on your fear. Exhaust her.

My ex was not this bad but he harassed me on 20 different fake numbers for a month straight. Threatening me physically, sexually. It was pathetic first then ridiculous then it got really scary. I’m filing for a protective order and I’m scared to see him in court

I really do wish you the best of luck in regaining your life as soon as possible. I’ve been there and even more unfortunately. Still not totally free. But still fighting to be. This type of thing reaches farther and deeper than anyone who’s not actually lived through it can ever begin to imagine and it’s affects are felt long after the actual act is over.

So if I were OP I would go to the police or FBI or someone that can help me disappear or get into witness protection program. Until the beauty Queen is locked up in a prison or mental hospital or just stay hidden.

If the image had been taken from the internet could they not have reverse image searched it? The only angle that would have been exact (the angle of the building that the camera would have been at to take that exact photo) would have been first posted on her account? Vs any other angle would have been company posted etc. on other platforms

The social media stuff goes to show the holes in our justice system, the law hasn't fully caught up with technology, there don't seem to be any laws against social bullying, but I think the platforms themselves have set up their own rules where you can report posts, but even then depending on if a D student of life is moderating, they may just let it slide.

I'm getting those vibes, the way he doesn't say anything to her, and is trying to get other people to interact with her to get her to go away, like he dated someone who was super hot, but that he knew was crazy and doesn't want to deal with the aftermath. Idk it doesn't really excuse her behaviour though, she's still being super creepy and werid.

I don't think so? I think he's just done with it since the relationship had long been over and she was awful in the relationship too. What also makes me think it probably wasn't him ghosting her is the fact that he hadn't blocked her number before the harassment started (if he ghosted her I'd think this girl would be crazy enough to call every 2 seconds so he would've blocked her then) and also she had reported many other man for "abuse" during their relationship to threaten them, which I doubt all of them ghosted her

@@FluffishPuppy She still calls their home phone she hasn't been blocked after 5 years of this creepy behaviour. Maybe they are scared if they block her it will escalate. The only thing that made me think it might be ghosting is that he doesn't say anything to her, and his wife doesn't say any details about the break up, and she said plenty of details about everything else. Like some key information is being left out. Like maybe their relationships overlapped or something, I just feel like there was a trigger to the mental health issue, and they are avoiding saying what it is because maybe it makes them look bad. Im not excusing her behaviour though, it's never okay to stalk someone or threaten their kids.

@@nellysmith6006 I read in a news article that after they broke up he was still helping her with her projects. I think he's a director or smth, and that's why she also would ask him to work on projects with her. Maybe they worked on projects together, the woman continued being unreasonable, and that's why he was so done and stopped responding. He did email her to stop pestering them though. About the relationship overlapping, it could be like that but at the same time the relationship between the husband and this ex was in 2010 and lasted only a year (from the news articles) while the husband and the wife maybe started dating 2014/2015 so the timeline is a bit far for it to overlap, although I could understand if by him doing projects with her she thought that he was still into her and that's where the relationship timeline could seem to overlap for her
