Wow, I have to admit, this is one of the more charming fan games I've seen in a while. So many small references to the channel as a whole, a huge surprise antagonist, the dialogue is so clever... This will be a fun one! Plus, I'm a fan of the facecam images being used rather than the usual Marky artwork. I love the artwork, but this just has a completely different feel to it. I love it! Thanks for sharing, Mark! Can't wait to see where this crazy adventure leads, man!

MJ Boett I believe it's RPG Maker. I think it costs like $70 though, it was the last time I checked but that was a long time ago.

RPG Maker doesn't cost all that much. Go on Steam. The latest version (VX Ace) is that high, yeah, but the earlier versions are in the 20-dollar range. And in looking at it now, it even appears there's a VX Ace Lite version that's free (huh). Back when I was on Charas Project a lot, I was using RPG Maker 2k3 (the way we wrote 2003), and there's XP as well, fairly cheap. If you happen across them during a sale, even cheaper. I snagged VX Ace during a Humble Bundle promotion, which is why I have it, because $70 is way out of my price range for a utility I'm unlikely to make any profit from. I don't even have time to use them right now, though I'm considering which utility to use for making a Markiplier fan game in the future (maybe sometime next year, not yet sure). If I don't use Minecraft (custom map) and don't use RPG Maker, I might use Game Maker instead -- dunno if that's still free or if you definitely have to pay money by now (it's changed hands from its original maker to Yoyo Games), but it's a good one for games that don't rely on RPG-style mechanics. For example, bouncing balls, breaking bricks, mazes, platformers if you can work out the jump physics (it should be easier, they've got a gravity function now, but I haven't played around with it yet), side-scrolling shooters (not first-person shooters, although it does have some 3d capabilities)... bet you could make a rudimentary version of One-Finger Death Punch with it. If you do get on RPG Maker, I can recommend giving Charas Project a look. Their website can be a bit weird if you don't know where everything is, but look for Complete Resources to find a ton of submissions of both ripped and original graphics, and check out their forums (which aren't as active as they used to be, but people are still around the past couple times I've dropped by) for how-to's, advice, and support. P.S. If you need more advice about where to hunt for resources, go ahead and ask, because there's tons of stuff around and I can help you find it. There used to be a thriving fan community built around RPG Maker (especially since it wasn't available here in the U.S. in any legal form until recently), and I don't know how much it's kept up over the years but they built up a huge body of resources of all sorts.

I've rewatched this series around 5 times, it's great :o)

hey markiplier, I was in a crash in which my friends car rolled over. we both walked away but I felt horrible because my friend was sent into a bad depression, but you helped us both get through it and I just wanted to thank you for helping us through this dramatic event
