I really like how you organized this- breaking your collection down into brands and then going through and decluttering what you had from each brand. It just made sense and made it feel less chaotic when going through hundreds of palettes.

Don’t feel bad about blend bunny. I truly wanted to buy them because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bunnies and the fact that the name of the brand had bunny in it was a win win to me, but I tried the original blends palette and the primal palette, which is discontinued now and I just wasn’t impressed. I felt I had a hard time blending (which everyone raved how good they are to blend) and I literally equated it to me just having crap skills with putting on eyeshadow because I have watched several influencers have zero issues with their palettes and they made amazing looks… But I have tried probably close to 500 eyeshadow palettes in my life, and those palettes just didn’t work well for me. I have also tried probably a couple hundred different eyeshadow brushes, and even though I’m not an influencer/content creator myself… I just…for the life of me can’t figure out why I had issues with the original blends palette. I understand that she discontinued the primal palette because I think the shimmers weren’t up to her quality standards, and I definitely have to agree in that regard… But the matte shadows in both of the palettes, in my opinion kind of sucked and it’s a huge disappointment because I see so many people love the brand and yet two palettes of hers that I tried I just didn’t like and again it makes me super sad, because I love bunnies and having an eyeshadow palette with the name blend bunny in it is like the ultimate want in my opinion and yet I just hardly ever use those palettes because I just can’t get them to blend well. Again, maybe I just suck at using eyeshadow… But I have had so many people in my life Tell me how well my eyeshadow looks are and how pretty my eyes look when I do multiple looks with different brands and I guess I just don’t get it. Maybe I just got two crappy palettes. I’m hoping that is the case because I really don’t want to hate blend bunny cosmetics.

I found that if you start with the mid tone shades then blend out with the lightest shades then deepen up with the darkest (obviously lol) you get the best result and that’s how they were actually made to be used. I actually get the best blend with her palettes.

I love declutters! Great declutter, Leah! I am only getting into palettes a bit. I just purchased the Colourpop Heavy Petal from Ulta as my first Colourpop palette, I hope I like it!

I understand why beauty content creators keep stuff they don't use and/or like but it's nice to see someone like yourself that seemed more focused on keeping what you use and love vs what would make good content.

I just recently decluttered some of my stuff as well. I made room for that Nomad Ghost Town palette and the Adept Element & Heather Austin. I'm excited to try these "new to me" brands!!

Love seeing all the palettes you have! I only got my first makeup palettes this year. I got 2 from Nyx but they weren't pastel enough or sparkly and then I got the Just Like Magix Winx Club Colourpop palette and love it. I just got the Aurora Struck from ColourPop and an Evanescence palette from HipDot.

Nomad Ocavanco and Natasha Denona Yucca and Oden’s Eye Stone and Rock, Juvia’s Place The Tribe, Ace Beaute Tropical . . . Are all very similar color stories. I. Have to do a declutter too! I also saw someone do something smart. They don’t remove the outer box until they actually use the palette; that way they can tell what they still need to try/use. I’m going to try that going forward.

The Adept Cosmetics and Heather Austin has a ABH Subculture vibes with Green, Burgundy, Yellow. The only 3 remind me. I have Subculture and it's old now! 😂 You did so well. 😊

For all the reviews that you do with some brands that none one else talks about it I found good brands like Kopari, hub hut (I am pretty sure that I missed spelled it) but I tried before November for self tanning and I loved it so I wants to use it very often for the smell, I am a fanatic of perfumes and I liked your reviews of your favorites that’s how I found 2 more perfumes on my last weekend in Las Vegas actually I bought 4, 3 travel sizes and 1 full size and I loved it 7 virtues was my favorite so thanks for sharing your experiences with many products that I don’t even know about the brand 👌🏻👋🏻☺️🎄🙏

Im loving glamlight this year. Did you give Garfield a second try? The color story is unique for the brand and the smaller size would be helpful for travel

Every time you would say you weren't impressed by a palette I would start singing Shania Twain "That Don't Impress Me Much" lol. I agree about the Disney movies. The animal ones are far superior to the princess ones. My fav is Lady and the Tramp with Bambi and Dumbo coming in next. Really enjoyed the video!

I see you mentioned the smoke and roses palette and comparing it to Natasha denona‘s retro palette, and I don’t personally have the retro palette, but I do have the smoke and roses palette and I am super curious if it is really close to the retro palette because I have wanted to get the retro palette for a while now, but I also have so many eyeshadow palettes that spending $65 on another eyeshadow palette doesn’t seem like a financially responsible thing for me to do when I have so many eyeshadow palettes already. What are your thoughts in comparing the two together? Do you think I can make the same looks with the smoke and roses palette as I could with the retro palette?

If you want the same colors you definitely have it in the Colourpop! Of course to me Natasha has a better formula, more pigmented and longer lasting on the eyes so that’s the main difference

@@LeahJanae oh I forgot to say I got the full glamlite Scooby Doo collection with pr box and have it as a collectible then I bought an extra of the palette and omg I love the palette! I wasn’t going to buy anything from the Rick and Morty collection tell I saw the palette, then my bf said I had to have it. The shimmers and foils are sooo amazing. I love glamlite so much these days.

I just went thru yest (actually accomplished something on Jan 1st) I have 153 palettes and 20 or so in boxes to be shipped out to friends. I also tried a palette I hadn't used in prob 2 yrs and think I need to go back thru and test some of those old 1s and let some go. I am not a creator I am a palette addict! And I need to stop!

The green Adept palette was Arrow inspired.

Wow, I didn’t realize Revolution came out with a monsters inc collection. That’s almost kind of a bummer because I’m not a huge fan of make up revolutions eyeshadow palette quality… But I always thought that monsters Inc was just such a cute movie.

39:48 I hope that when you said you’re gonna declutter these three and stacked the two you said you were gonna keep on top of the one you said you were gonna declutter that you indeed decluttered the other two you had mentioned prior (the purple and yellow ones and not the other ones).

For some reason too faced has value as it ages. 🤷...There is a market for the collector's. Especially Vintage items. But some reason maybe my skin , idk. But most has been good on me. Except prices is just going up.
