It does feel a bit like the end of an Era. I think alot of us are in the same place, just done with the over consumption and hoarding. Hopefully all these beauties find a home where they can be cherished.
The fact that you decluttered literally all 3 of my absolute FAV Natasha Denona palettes broke my heart 😂 I think Gold, Biba and My Dream are unmatched in quality and shades
I lost count on how many times my mouth dropped throughout this video! Decluttering Natasha Denona?! Especially the Gold palette?! You were ruthless in this declutter! Now I'm in the mood to declutter my collection
I have been watching Samantha for a long time. I remember when she did a video talking about how expensive it was for her to keep buying makeup to maintain her role as an influencer because she was not yet getting free PR from companies. She was struggling with her conscience about doing sponsored videos and was kind of stuck. Now she is able to declutter 67 palettes and keep 49 - and that's just eyeshadow palettes! What a strange and interesting world it is.
I understand you want to simplify, but I don’t think it’s a good idea for an influencer to declutter palettes because you might need them for future references and comparisons. Plus, you make this beauty world vain/ disposable when you toss a hyped and expensive product away. Unless you’re wondering away from the beauty world… just an opinion.
One of only 3 palettes I bought in 2022 was CP Not a box of Chocolates. It was 100% because of you and every time I use it I get compliments and people ask what I’m wearing!
When my Natasha minis break, I pop out the pans that don’t shatter, because it’s so easy to pop them out of the pan. I’ve actually reorganized the pans in my Natasha minis so I have all mattes and all shimmers and all pans that I never use.

Thank you for saying that PM is not your favorite eyeshadow formula. I completely agree with you. I had a pallet of hers once and wasn’t a huge fan. Especially for the price. Thank you for giving some away even though they are pricey. That says a lot. Great video.
I can hear the relief in your voice! I remember back when you had the makeup room in Iowa and even then you were bogged down by so many palettes, it's great to see a huge culling now, it has to feel like such a weight off
"It doesn't stir my makeup loins" is the best way I have heard someone describe a palette in a while, lol, I love it! So glad to see you back on KZread more. I really hope you have been feeling and doing great!

The Biba is my holy grail palette. I have hit pan on many of the shades and I'm about to buy another......I could probably only have that palette and be just fine. 😭😭😭. The quality is unmatched in my opinion. But good declutter! These are what I like to see.
