Yeah, I just got divorced w my wife, we broke up year ago after 7 years in relationship. And I cant imagine just to get her completely out of my life, cuz she determined who I am now. We arent together anymore, but we still support each other, Im glad she found another soulmate for her life. We even play online games together sometimes and we do have really good and healthy relationship. Its nice to hear some people have it the same way, It was hard at the start, but now Im really happy we are still friends. Hope Bella and Britt will be able to stay friends no matter what. They both deserve to be happy.

I was married and we broke up and remain good friends. It certainly couldn’t work in every situation, but we realized that we were headed in different directions and managed to keep communicating our feelings through the most painful times. Now we see obviously talk much less because she has a boyfriend, but I’m so glad we ended the relationship amicably.

I think it definitely depends on the people. In my case, my ex and I check up on each other every once in awhile. But we've both moved on. He was a good partner and I'm glad he was my first bf since now I have a realistic standard for guys. I have high-ish standards considering my age range but I know what I need to balance out my weaknesses and strengths. I think as long as you're not extremely close to an ex, it's fine.

At first we were just trying to figure out what was happening but now we’ve both moved on quite a bit and it feels a lot more like a friendship. I think the part about both having the maturity to move on is very crucial to keeping on good terms. But neither of us have any desire to be in a relationship where the love is gone lol.

It’s a lot more common in queer, especially sapphic, relationships to stay close after a breakup. I think part of it was originally because of lack of openly queer people to surround yourself with, and now it’s just a lot more normalized than it is in hetero/hetero passing relationships
