That works lil bro I was doing that before I started mines. 🤙🏾
That's why I'm keeping my hair shaped up until I loc it up because I'm not trying to go back to the brush cut 💯✨🔑
Im 8 months into my high top (drop fade) locs and I felt your pain on coming to terms with your undercut situation I wish I had a full set or very low tapers to start but it is what it is .. gotta stay dredicated lol

Never
I think when you did the first retwist you set yourself up for thinning of locs. Because free forming your hair gets stronger as it grows and combine the afro type foundation you have when free forming I think looks the strongest and is the strongest it's a total and complete crown of locs growing onto one helmet of hair but when you stopped and got that retwist that I believe is when you weakened your locs foundation because now it's nolonger a crown of locs but separate twisted locs and that is when it's a weaker foundation because they are separated

facts
new to your channel
if you ask me in think every 3 months you should retwist because I used to do it every month and sometimes every 2 months but after i cut my hair bald I realized my hair don't grow long enough to retwist every 2 months even tho my hair got really frizzy it look like "new growth " but it's not especially if your parts is skinny wait 3 months an if you don't there gunna break and turn really skinny one more thing KEEP YOUR HEAD COVERED when you have starter locks because lint WILL find its way in your hair
Should all dying be avoided or just bleaching?? For example wanting to dye out any greys
You have nice hair
Hey man, nice Video. How long did you use the Sponge???

When you started wit the sponge did you twist with your fingers also how did you maintain after u wake up, also how much pressure on the sponge because I’m trying to start my freefroms
@mzg5809
2 жыл бұрын
i twisted with my hands sometime because of habit.. but i mostly used sponge. i applied good amount of pressure to make sure my roots got twisted 2
So the sponge causes thinning???
How many times did you sponge your hair
Did you sleep with a bonnet in the beginning stages
Did you split them so some weren’t big? Cuz I’m using a sponge and scared to have fat dreads and some thin

To much retwist 3-4 months for every retwist
Yeah I see what you mean cause the left side of your dreadlocks is thicker than the right side
